تحديات تغذية الأطفال:

The report also noted that 8 out of 10 caregivers observed an improvement in their children's mental health after the ceasefire, but children who were exposed to prolonged periods of stress and trauma may face lifelong health and psychological consequences.

The assessment revealed alarming figures regarding child nutrition, particularly in densely populated areas such as the Baalbek-Hermel and Bekaa Governorates, which were subjected to repeated airstrikes. In Baalbek-Hermel, more than half of children under the age of two (51%) suffer from severe food insecurity, while the percentage rises to 45% in Bekaa, compared to about 28% in 2023.

The survey also showed that 49% of children in Bekaa and 34% in Baalbek-Hermel did not eat any food or had only one meal the previous day. Nationally, the percentage was 30%.
