“القرارات الدولية العقيمة”… بماذا وعد سلام أهالي الجنوب؟
تعد زيارة رئيس الحكومة نواف سلام إلى الجنوب اليوم مع عدد من الوزراء بعد نيل الحكومة الثقة، خطوة لافتة في مسار حكومة العهد الجديد. حيث تعهدت الحكومة بتنفيذ القرار 1701، وإعادة أهالي الجنوب إلى قراهم، نشر الجيش اللبناني، وإخراج العدو الإسرائيلي من الأراضي اللبنانية.
لكن الزيارة تأتي في وقتٍ لا يزال فيه العدو الإسرائيلي محتلاً للأراضي اللبنانية، بل ويواصل توسيع نطاق احتلاله، قاضماً المزيد من الأراضي في تحدٍ واضح للقرار 1701، مدعومًا بتغطية أميركية صريحة.
الجنوب على خطى التحرير:
ورغم التحديات، لا يزال أهالي الجنوب يتمسكون بمبادئ التحرير والكرامة، فهم الذين سبق لهم أن حرروا أرضهم بدمائهم وسواعدهم. اليوم، وبعد سنوات من الاحتلال المستمر، قرروا السير خلف الدولة علها تحقق لهم التحرير عبر الوسائل الدبلوماسية كما تدعي. وقد أرادوا تذكير الحكومة بذلك، حيث انتظر عدد من أهالي بلدة الضهيرة فور هبوط الطائرة المروحية التي كانت تقل الرئيس نواف سلام ووزيرة البيئة تمارا الزين. هؤلاء الأهالي عبروا عن مطالبهم بوضوح: رحيل العدو عن أراضيهم، مطالبين بالتحرك الفوري.
الرئيس سلام يطمئن الأهالي:
استمع الرئيس نواف سلام باهتمام بالغ إلى مطالب هؤلاء الأهالي الذين نقلوا معاناتهم مع العدو الإسرائيلي الذي يمنعهم من الاقتراب من أرزاقهم رغم انسحابه من قريتهم. وأشار الرئيس سلام إلى أن هذا هو “أول يوم عمل حقيقي للحكومة”، مطمئنًا الأهالي بأن الحكومة ستعمل على تنفيذ ما ورد في البيان الوزاري، ووعدهم بالعودة الآمنة إلى منازلهم في أسرع وقت، مؤكدًا التزامه بعملية إعادة الإعمار ليعود الأهالي إلى ديارهم بكرامة.
كما أكد أن الحكومة تسعى لاستعادة ثقة اللبنانيين من خلال الأفعال وليس الأقوال. وأشار إلى أن الحكومة، منذ نيلها الثقة، بدأت في حشد الدعم العربي والدولي لإجبار العدو على الانسحاب من الأراضي اللبنانية، بما في ذلك النقاط الخمسة المحتلة، مشددًا على أنه “لا استقرار حقيقيًا ومستدامًا دون انسحاب إسرائيل بالكامل”.
التحديات الكبرى التي يواجهها لبنان:

“Ineffective International Decisions”… What Did Salam Promise the People of the South?
Prime Minister Najib Salam’s visit to the south today, along with several ministers, right after his government was granted confidence, is a noteworthy step for the new era government. The government pledged to implement UNSC resolution 1701, return the people of the south to their villages, deploy the Lebanese army, and remove the enemy from Lebanon.
However, this visit comes at a time when the Israeli enemy still occupies Lebanese territories, and continues to expand its occupation, seizing more land in clear defiance of the ceasefire decision, with direct American backing.
The South on the Path to Liberation:
Despite the challenges, the people of the south remain steadfast in their principles of liberation and dignity. They are the ones who have previously liberated their land with their blood and strength. Today, after years of continuous occupation, they have decided to follow the state, hoping that it will achieve their liberation through diplomatic means as it claims. They wanted to remind the government of this, and so, several residents of the town of Al-Daher waited at the entrance to the Banu Saker barracks for the helicopter carrying Prime Minister Najib Salam and Environment Minister Tamara Zain to land. These residents made their demands clear: the departure of the enemy from their land, urging immediate action.
Prime Minister Salam Assures the People:
Prime Minister Najib Salam listened attentively to the grievances of the residents, who shared their suffering from the Israeli enemy that prevents them from accessing their livelihoods despite its withdrawal from their village. Salam responded by saying that “this is the first real day of action for the government,” reassuring them that the government would work to implement what was stated in the ministerial statement. He promised them a safe return to their homes as soon as possible, emphasizing his commitment to the reconstruction process to return the people with dignity.
He also confirmed that the government seeks to regain the confidence of the Lebanese people through actions, not words. He pointed out that the government, since receiving confidence, has started rallying Arab and international support to force the enemy to withdraw from Lebanon, including the five occupied points, stressing that “there can be no true and sustainable stability without the complete withdrawal of Israel.”
The Major Challenges Lebanon Faces:
However, observers noted that Prime Minister Salam mentioned only the five occupied points, while knowing full well that the Israeli enemy has surpassed these five points, now controlling more than ten points. Today, Israel is bulldozing Mount Sheikh from the Lebanese side, turning it into a strategic location to control southern Lebanon, Syria, and even extending its reach to Jordan. Did Salam look from the helicopter window at these violations? Will he ask the army commander to take action to stop these violations? Or will he continue to rely on international decisions that have proven ineffective, from Resolution 425 up until today?
