معركة البقاء لمتعاقدي التعليم: دعوات للإضراب العام ومطالب ملحّة لإنصافهم
نداء عاجل إلى وزير التربية لحسم أزمة أجر الساعة للمتعاقدين
وجه حمزة منصور، منسق حراك المعلمين المتعاقدين، رسالة حازمة إلى وزير التربية والتعليم العالي في حكومة تصريف الأعمال، عباس الحلبي، مطالباً بإنهاء أزمة رفع أجر الساعة للمتعاقدين، وهي الأزمة التي استمرت لأكثر من عام دون أي حسم.
وأوضح منصور في حديثه إلى موقع “ليبانون ديبايت” أن “المتعاقدين يعيشون معركة وجودية تهدف لضمان حقوقهم الأساسية في العيش الكريم”، مشيراً إلى أن “الوعود المتكررة وغير المنفذة قد أنهكتهم، ولم يعد الوقت في صالحهم”.
الإضراب العام: خطوة حاسمة لتحقيق المطالب
دعا منصور جميع المعلمين المتعاقدين إلى التحرك الفوري والإعلان عن إضراب عام شامل، مؤكدًا أن “استمرار التأجيل والتسويف سيضيع كافة الجهود التي بُذلت على مدار العام الماضي”.
وأضاف أن “وزير التربية سبق أن وعد الحراك بإقرار الزيادة على أجر الساعة منذ أكثر من عام، إلا أن هذه الوعود لم تترجم إلى خطوات عملية على أرض الواقع”.
مطالب عاجلة لإنصاف المتعاقدين
طالب منصور الوزير الحلبي بالوفاء بتعهداته، لا سيما تجاه معلمي الشريط الحدودي الذين يواجهون ظروفًا معيشية قاسية واستثنائية. كما شدد على ضرورة:
- ضمان التعليم بعيداً عن دمج الصفوف.
- صرف كافة المستحقات المالية للمتعاقدين، بما يشمل الساعات وبدل الإنتاجية.
- إقرار دفع المستحقات المالية كاملة عن شهر تشرين الأول، الذي شهد تعطيلاً قسرياً للمدارس بسبب الحرب.
رفض التسويف والمطالبة بقرارات عاجلة
أكد منصور أن “الحراك يرفض أي محاولات جديدة للتسويف أو المماطلة في قضايا المتعاقدين المحقة”، مشدداً على أن الوقت قد حان لاتخاذ خطوات ملموسة تُنصف هذه الفئة التي تشكل العمود الفقري للتعليم الرسمي في لبنان.
كما شدد على ضرورة ضمان حقوق المتعاقدين قبل مغادرة الوزير الحلبي منصبه، قائلاً: “لا نريد مغادرته دون أن يضمن حقوقنا، لأن إحقاق الحق في هذه الظروف الحرجة هو أقل ما يمكن تقديمه لهذه الشريحة”.
Existential Battle for Contract Teachers: Call for General Strike and Urgent Demands
Urgent Appeal to the Minister of Education
Hamza Mansour, coordinator of the Contract Teachers Movement, issued a strong message to the Minister of Education in the caretaker government, Abbas Halabi, urging him to resolve the long-standing issue of raising the hourly wage for contract teachers, which has been pending for over a year.
Mansour emphasized to “Lebanon Debate” that “contract teachers are fighting an existential battle to secure their basic right to a dignified life.” He added that “the repeated, unfulfilled promises have exhausted them, and time is no longer on their side.”
General Strike as a Decisive Step
Mansour called on all contract teachers to take immediate action by announcing a general strike, stating that “continued delays and procrastination will squander all the efforts made over the past year.”
He also highlighted that “the Minister of Education had promised to approve the hourly wage increase over a year ago, but these promises have yet to materialize into tangible steps.”
Urgent Demands for Justice
Mansour outlined several urgent demands for the minister:
- Ensure education without class merging.
- Pay all financial dues, including hours worked and productivity allowances.
- Approve full payments for October, a month during which schools were forcibly closed due to the war.
Rejection of Delays and Calls for Immediate Action
Mansour stressed that “the movement rejects any new attempts at procrastination regarding the rightful demands of contract teachers,” adding that now is the time for tangible steps to support this vital segment of Lebanon's educational system.
He concluded by calling on Minister Halabi to ensure all contract teachers' rights are addressed before leaving office, saying: “We do not want him to leave without fulfilling our rights. Ensuring justice during these critical times is the least that can be done for this essential segment of society.”
