وأشار صبلوح إلى أن القوى الإيرانية وحزب الله وبعض الأجهزة الأمنية المتحالفة معها قد تكون إعادة تفعيل ورقة داعش في هذا التوقيت، محاولين تخفيف الضغوطات على الرئيس اللبناني فيما يتعلق بملف سلاح حزب الله. واعتبر أن هذه الحرب النفسية تُستخدم لتضليل الرأي العام اللبناني والدولي.

وأكّد في ختام حديثه على ضرورة أن يتوقف لبنان عن استخدام “داعش” كغطاء لأهداف سياسية داخلية أو خارجية، وأوضح أن البلد بحاجة إلى مصارحة حقيقية مع الشعب اللبناني.
