“إضراب وتحرك واسع لرابطة موظفي الإدارة العامة في بيروت: شلل متوقع في الإدارات الحكومية غداً”
تبدأ “رابطة موظفي الإدارة العامة” إضرابًا تحذيريًا لمدة يوم واحد، غدًا الإثنين، بعد استنفاد جميع الوسائل لتحقيق مطالبهم، ونجاح إجراء الانتخابات البلدية بسلاسة. يؤكد الموظفون التزامهم النضالي للدفاع عن حقوقهم، لا سيما في ظل الارتفاع الأخير لأسعار المحروقات وتأثيره السلبي على أسعار السلع وانخفاض قيمة الرواتب.
أوضح إبراهيم نحال، عضو الهيئة الإدارية للرابطة، أن الإضراب سيكون مصحوبًا باعتصام في ساحة رياض الصلح، حيث سيُعقد مؤتمر صحافي مشترك مع الاتحاد العمالي العام والمجلس التنسيقي للمتقاعدين.
ودعا نحال الموظفين والمتقاعدين والعمال إلى التجمع في الساحة عند الساعة الواحدة ظهرًا، لرفع الصوت ضد الأوضاع المعيشية الصعبة والظلم الاجتماعي المتفاقم.
وشدد على أن جميع الإدارات الرسمية ستتوقف عن العمل، ولن تتم معالجة أي معاملات خلال فترة الإضراب، داعيًا المواطنين إلى عدم التوجه إلى الوزارات والإدارات لتفادي الإزعاج. ووجه الشكر للمواطنين على تفهمهم هذا التحرك وعدم قدرتهم على إنجاز معاملاتهم غدًا.
وأشار إلى أن رسالة الموظفين واضحة وصريحة، وأنهم لن يسمحوا بمزيد من التجاوزات على حقوقهم وكرامتهم، معتبراً الإضراب جرس إنذار للمسؤولين لتنفيذ المطالب قبل أن تتدهور الأوضاع أكثر.
وأكد أن الإضراب التحذيري هو البداية، وأن هناك تحركات لاحقة ستُعلن بناءً على تطورات المفاوضات مع الجهات المسؤولة.
“Public Administration Employees Launch Nationwide Strike in Beirut: Government Services to Halt Tomorrow”
The Public Administration Employees Association will commence a one-day warning strike on Monday after exhausting all avenues to achieve their demands and successfully passing the municipal elections. The employees reaffirm their commitment to struggle for their rights, especially following the recent fuel price hikes that adversely impacted commodity prices and eroded salary values.
Ibrahim Nahal, a member of the association’s administrative board, stated that the strike will be accompanied by a sit-in at Riyad al-Solh Square, featuring a joint press conference with the General Labor Union and the Coordinating Council for Retirees.
Nahal urged employees, retirees, and workers to gather at the square at 1 PM to voice opposition to worsening living conditions and social injustice.
He emphasized that all official government departments will cease operations during the strike, with no transactions processed, advising citizens to avoid ministries and administrative offices to prevent inconvenience. He also thanked citizens for their understanding of the strike and their inability to complete their transactions tomorrow.
Nahal highlighted that the employees’ message is clear and firm: they will not tolerate further violations of their rights and dignity. The strike serves as a warning bell to officials to address the demands promptly before the situation deteriorates further.
He confirmed that the warning strike marks the beginning, with further actions to be announced depending on developments in negotiations with responsible authorities.
