أصدرت مؤسسة كهرباء لبنان بيانًا رسميًا تعلن فيه نجاحها في دعم العملية الانتخابية البلدية والاختيارية التي جرت خلال شهر مايو 2025، عبر تأمين التيار الكهربائي بشكل مستمر لمراكز لجان القيد الابتدائية والعليا في جميع الدوائر اللبنانية، وعددها 27 مركزًا موزعة على مختلف المحافظات، إضافة إلى العديد من مراكز الاقتراع.
وأوضحت المؤسسة أن هذه الخطوة جاءت بالتنسيق التام مع وزارة الداخلية والبلديات، لتوفير بيئة كهربائية مستقرة ومساندة لإنجاح هذا الاستحقاق الوطني الهام.
وفي إطار جهودها لضمان استقرار التيار الكهربائي، قامت مؤسسة كهرباء لبنان بـ تعزيز قدرات الشبكة الكهربائية بإضافة نحو 200 ميغاوات من الطاقة الإنتاجية، مما ساهم في تأمين تغذية كهربائية مستقرة خلال أيام الانتخابات في كافة المحافظات اللبنانية.
وقد أشادت مؤسسة كهرباء لبنان بالدور الفاعل الذي لعبته وزارة الداخلية والبلديات، وكافة الأجهزة الأمنية في تأمين سير العملية الانتخابية بسلاسة ونجاح.
وفي الختام، وجّهت المؤسسة شكرها الجزيل لجميع موظفيها الذين ساهموا بإخلاص وتفانٍ في إنجاح هذه المهمة الوطنية، مؤكدين بذلك التزام المؤسسة الدائم بمسؤولياتها تجاه الوطن والمواطنين.
Electricity of Lebanon Ensures Continuous Power Supply to Support May 2025 Municipal Elections
The Electricity of Lebanon (EDL) officially announced its successful role in supporting the municipal and local elections held in May 2025 by providing continuous electrical power to all primary and higher registration committees across Lebanon’s 27 electoral districts, as well as numerous polling stations nationwide.
This initiative was executed in full coordination with the Ministry of Interior and Municipalities to guarantee a stable electrical environment facilitating the smooth conduct of this crucial national event.
To ensure power stability, EDL enhanced the national grid’s capacity by adding approximately 200 megawatts of production, securing reliable electricity supply throughout the election days across all Lebanese governorates.
EDL praised the significant role played by the Ministry of Interior and Municipalities alongside all security agencies in securing the smooth and successful operation of the elections.
