أكد وزير الدولة للشؤون الخارجية في المملكة العربية السعودية، عادل الجبير، خلال مشاركته في القمة العربية الرابعة والثلاثين المنعقدة في بغداد، على موقف المملكة القوي والراسخ تجاه القضايا الحيوية في المنطقة.
في كلمته، جدد الجبير رفض بلاده القاطع لأي محاولات تهدف إلى التهجير القسري للشعب الفلسطيني، معتبراً أن فرض حلول لا تلبي تطلعات الفلسطينيين المشروعة بإقامة دولتهم المستقلة وعاصمتها القدس الشرقية، أمر غير مقبول. وشدد على أن “الظروف الاستثنائية التي تمر بها القضية الفلسطينية تتطلب استمرار التنسيق والجهود العربية الموحدة لدعم الشعب الفلسطيني، ورفع معاناته، ودعم نضاله المشروع لنيل حقوقه التاريخية.”
وفيما يخص الملف السوري، اعتبر الجبير أن رفع العقوبات عن سوريا يمثل “فرصة حقيقية لإطلاق عملية التعافي الوطني، وتعزيز جهود التنمية، وإعادة الإعمار والازدهار.” كما أكد على ضرورة الوقوف إلى جانب الحكومة السورية في مواجهة التحديات الأمنية، مشدداً على أن التنسيق العربي المشترك ضروري للتصدي لأي محاولات تهدف إلى زعزعة أمن سوريا واستقرارها، لما لذلك من انعكاسات مباشرة على الأمن القومي العربي.
أما بالنسبة للوضع اللبناني، فقد جدد الجبير دعم المملكة العربية السعودية لجهود الحكومة اللبنانية في تنفيذ الإصلاحات وتعزيز دور المؤسسات، والحفاظ على الأمن والاستقرار في البلاد. وأكد أيضاً دعم السعودية لحصر السلاح بيد الدولة اللبنانية، وهو ما يعزز سيادة الدولة ويحد من نفوذ الجماعات المسلحة غير الرسمية.
وعن الوضع في السودان، أكد الجبير أن المملكة تواصل دعمها لجهود الحوار الوطني بين الأطراف المتنازعة، مشدداً على أهمية التوصل إلى وقف شامل ودائم لإطلاق النار، وهو الخطوة الأولى نحو حل سياسي شامل يُنهي الأزمة ويعيد الاستقرار إلى البلاد.
أهمية تصريحات السعودية في القمة:

Saudi Arabia Reaffirms Support for Lebanese State’s Exclusive Control of Weapons and Rejects Forced Displacement of Palestinians at Baghdad Summit
Saudi Arabia’s Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Adel al-Jubeir, reiterated the Kingdom’s firm position on critical regional issues during the 34th Arab Summit held in Baghdad.
In his speech, al-Jubeir strongly rejected any attempts aimed at the forced displacement of the Palestinian people, emphasizing that imposed solutions which fail to meet Palestinians’ legitimate aspirations for an independent state with East Jerusalem as its capital are unacceptable. He stressed that “the exceptional circumstances surrounding the Palestinian cause necessitate continued Arab coordination and unified efforts to alleviate the suffering of the Palestinian people and support their legitimate struggle for their historic rights.”
Regarding the Syrian dossier, al-Jubeir described lifting sanctions on Syria as “a genuine opportunity to launch national recovery efforts, enhance development, and support reconstruction and prosperity.” He also emphasized the importance of standing with the Syrian government in confronting security challenges and stressed the necessity of joint Arab coordination to counter any attempts to destabilize Syria, due to its direct impact on Arab national security.
Concerning Lebanon, al-Jubeir reaffirmed Saudi Arabia’s support for the Lebanese government’s efforts to implement reforms, strengthen institutions, and maintain security and stability. He also confirmed Saudi support for the exclusive control of weapons by the Lebanese state, which strengthens sovereignty and limits the influence of unauthorized armed groups.
On Sudan, al-Jubeir confirmed the Kingdom’s ongoing support for dialogue efforts between conflicting parties, stressing the importance of reaching a comprehensive and permanent ceasefire, which is the first step toward a comprehensive political solution to end the crisis and restore stability.
