“نبيه بري: التطبيع مع إسرائيل خيانة ولن نسمح به – صبرنا سلاحنا في مواجهة الاعتداءات”
أكد رئيس مجلس النواب اللبناني، نبيه بري، أن إسرائيل، من خلال تكثيف اعتداءاتها العسكرية الأخيرة، تحاول فرض واقع سياسي وميداني جديد على لبنان، في محاولة لإظهار سيطرتها على المعادلة الإقليمية.
وأوضح بري، بحسب ما نقل عنه زوار له في حديثهم مع صحيفة “الجمهورية”، أن العدو الإسرائيلي يسعى من خلال هذا التصعيد إلى دفع لبنان نحو مسار التطبيع مع إسرائيل، وهو ما وصفه بـ”الأمر المرفوض” تمامًا. وقال بري: “التطبيع مع إسرائيل خيانة، ولن نسمح به أبدًا“، مشددًا على أن إسرائيل تتبع سياسة فرض الأمر الواقع عبر الضربات العسكرية المتكررة التي تستهدف الأراضي اللبنانية، ولكنه أضاف: “لن تنجح إسرائيل في كسر إرادتنا الوطنية“.
وفيما يخص عدم الرد العسكري المباشر على هذه الاعتداءات، أشار بري إلى أن لبنان ملتزم بـ اتفاق وقف إطلاق النار، في إشارة إلى تفاهم نيسان 1996 وقرار مجلس الأمن الدولي رقم 1701 الصادر في عام 2006، الذي أنهى حرب تموز بين حزب الله و إسرائيل.
وأكد بري أن المرحلة الحالية تتطلب الصبر وضبط النفس، مشيرًا إلى أن “سلاحنا في هذه المرحلة هو الصبر، وبهذا الصبر نقاتلهم“. وأكد أن الصبر هو الأساس الذي سيعتمد عليه لبنان في مواجهة التحديات والمواقف الصعبة.
“Nabih Berri: Normalization with Israel is Treason and Will Never Happen – Patience is Our Weapon”
Lebanese Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri stated that Israel, through its intensification of recent military assaults, is attempting to impose a new political and field reality on Lebanon, aiming to assert its dominance in the regional equation.
According to Berri's visitors, quoted by Al-Joumhouria newspaper, the Speaker emphasized that the Israeli enemy seeks, through its escalation, to push Lebanon toward a path of normalization with Israel, which he firmly rejected. “Normalization with Israel is treason, and it will never happen,” Berri stressed, adding that Israel is following a strategy of imposing facts on the ground through repeated military strikes targeting Lebanese territory, but he affirmed that “Israel will not succeed in breaking our national will.”
Regarding the lack of direct military retaliation against these attacks, Berri clarified that Lebanon is committed to the ceasefire agreement, referring to the April 1996 understanding and UN Security Council Resolution 1701 from 2006, which ended the July War between Hezbollah and Israel.
Berri further pointed out that the current phase requires much patience and self-restraint, adding, “Our weapon at this stage is patience, and with this patience, we fight them.” He emphasized that patience will be the key tool for Lebanon in confronting the challenges and difficulties ahead.
