“ليس موضوع السلاح”: مسؤول بالجماعة الإسلامية يؤكد على حماية لبنان أولاً
في بيان جديد، أُعيد فتح ملف التشكيلات المسلحة في لبنان بعد استهداف إسرائيل القيادي في “الجماعة الإسلامية”، حسين عزات عطوي، يوم الثلاثاء الماضي. وقد ساهمت العديد من الجماعات المسلحة في الحرب التي دعمت غزة تحت مظلة “حزب الله”، لتُسجل هذه الأحداث في تاريخ الحرب ضد الاحتلال الإسرائيلي.
رغم الاستهدافات الإسرائيلية المستمرة لقياديي “الجماعة الإسلامية”، لا يبدو أن القيادة نادمة على مشاركتها في حرب الإسناد، بل تؤكد أن الهدف كان الدفاع عن أرض لبنان والشعب اللبناني. وفي هذا الصدد، يقول رئيس المكتب السياسي لـ”الجماعة الإسلامية” في لبنان، علي أبو ياسين، إن “المشاركة كانت جزءًا من دعم غزة، لكنها كانت في جوهرها دفاعاً عن لبنان وأرضه، حيث بدأنا عملياتنا فقط بعد أن بدأت إسرائيل في عملياتها الإجرامية على الأراضي اللبنانية”.
وأكد أبو ياسين، في تصريح خاص لـ”الشرق الأوسط”، أن “الجماعة التزمت بقرار وقف إطلاق النار، حيث تعاونت مع تحقيقات الجيش اللبناني بعد الادعاءات بشأن إطلاق صواريخ بعد وقف إطلاق النار، وأكدنا أنه لا علاقة لنا بهذه العمليات”.

وفي سياق آخر، تعمل “الجماعة الإسلامية” على إعداد مشروع سياسي يتضمن رؤية شاملة حول الاستراتيجية الدفاعية، الأمن الوطني، والتحضير للانتخابات النيابية المقبلة، إضافة إلى أهمية تعزيز العلاقة مع الدول العربية ومحاربة الفساد الذي كان أحد الأسباب الرئيسية للأزمة الاقتصادية في لبنان.
“Not About the Weapon”: An Official of the Islamic Group Emphasizes Lebanon's Protection First
Following the Israeli targeting of Islamic Group leader Hussein Azat Attawi on Tuesday, the issue of armed groups in Lebanon has once again come to the forefront. Many of these groups participated in the support war for Gaza under the umbrella of Hezbollah.
Despite the continuous Israeli targeting of its leaders, the leadership of the “Islamic Group” does not seem regretful about its participation in the war effort, maintaining that the goal was to defend Lebanon's land and its people. In an exclusive statement to “Asharq Al-Awsat,” Ali Abu Yassin, the head of the political bureau of the “Islamic Group” in Lebanon, explained that “the participation in the war against Israel after ‘Flood of Al-Aqsa' was partly to support Gaza, but in essence, it was a defense of Lebanon and its land. Our operations began only after Israel started its criminal actions in Lebanon.”
Abu Yassin further affirmed, “The group clearly informed Lebanese authorities that it was committed to the ceasefire, and we cooperated with the army's investigations into the alleged missile launches in March after the ceasefire, confirming that we were not involved in these actions.”
Regarding the group's willingness to hand over its weapons to the Lebanese state, Abu Yassin emphasized, “There is still an enemy occupying Lebanese territory, violating Lebanon's sovereignty every day. The priority now is to protect Lebanon, not the issue of weapons.” He added, “The Lebanese state must answer the question: How do we protect our country? Once there is a clear and objective answer, everyone will comply with the decision.”
Meanwhile, the “Islamic Group” is preparing a political project to be presented next month, which will include a comprehensive vision on defense strategy, national security, and handling upcoming challenges, including the upcoming parliamentary elections. The project will also emphasize the importance of strengthening Lebanon's relations with Arab countries and combating the corruption that led to Lebanon's economic collapse.
