Residents of the town of Ain Zhalta in the Chouf district woke up on Wednesday morning to a horrific crime that shook the region, causing panic and concern among the locals, with increasing questions surrounding the circumstances of the incident and the identity of the perpetrator.
According to information from Lebanon Debate, the body of Samia Al-Za'ar, a woman in her seventies, was found lifeless inside her home. Preliminary investigations revealed that she had been strangled, and it is believed that the crime was likely committed for robbery, based on the initial findings.
