“خطة شاملة”… إسرائيل تسعى إلى تطبيع العلاقات مع لبنان
نقلت وسائل الإعلام الإسرائيلية عن مصدر سياسي إسرائيلي قوله إن المحادثات الجارية مع لبنان تعتبر جزءاً من خطة شاملة تهدف إلى تعزيز العلاقات بين البلدين والوصول بها إلى مستويات جديدة. وأوضح المصدر أن السياسة التي يتبعها رئيس الوزراء الإسرائيلي بنيامين نتنياهو قد أثرت بشكل كبير على مجريات الأحداث في منطقة الشرق الأوسط، مشيراً إلى أن إسرائيل ترغب في الاستفادة من هذا الزخم من أجل تطبيع العلاقات مع لبنان.

The source highlighted that the policies of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu have significantly impacted the developments in the Middle East, adding that Israel seeks to capitalize on this momentum to establish normalized relations with Lebanon.

In related news, Lebanon Debate correspondent reported that Israeli soldiers opened fire with machine guns at a group of farmers and laborers in the Sarda orchards, south of the town of Khyam, in an attempt to intimidate them and prevent them from working on their agricultural lands. The correspondent also noted the presence of Israeli bulldozers conducting land clearing operations and constructing earthen mounds within Lebanese territory in the area of the border wall near the village of Ramish, all under the protection of Merkava tanks.
