“الموازنة أهم عمل للحكومة”… باسيل: أين الإصلاحات والوعود بالإنقاذ؟
أكد رئيس التيار الوطني الحر، النائب جبران باسيل، في منشور له عبر منصة إكس يوم الجمعة، أن الموازنة تعد أهم عمل تقوم به الحكومة، حيث تُترجم من خلالها رؤيتها. واعتبر باسيل أن إقرار الموازنة يُعد مؤشرًا أساسيًا على جدية الحكومة في العمل على تحسين الوضع الاقتصادي في لبنان.
الموازنة: المعيار الأساسي لحكومة ما بعد الانتخابات
في منشوره، أضاف باسيل: “ظهر أول مشروع لها موازنة حكومة مستقيلة منذ ثلاث سنوات! وهذا يعني مضي عشرة أشهر من الإصلاحات، في حكومة عمرها أربعة عشر شهراً“. وجاء هذا التصريح في إطار تسليط الضوء على الوقت الذي مضى منذ تشكيل الحكومة الحالية، دون أن تشهد البلاد أي تحسن ملموس على صعيد الإصلاحات الاقتصادية أو المالية.
أين الإصلاحات؟ أين الوعود بالإنقاذ؟
وأشار باسيل إلى أن صندوق النقد الدولي سيصل إلى لبنان في الأسبوع المقبل، متسائلًا: “أين الإصلاحات؟ وأين البيان الوزاري و الوعود بالإنقاذ؟”. هذه التساؤلات تعكس حالة من الشكوك التي يواجهها اللبنانيون بشأن التزام الحكومة بتنفيذ الإصلاحات التي تم الترويج لها سابقًا، خصوصًا مع استمرار الأزمة الاقتصادية في البلاد.
الطعن وإدخال تعديلات على الموازنة في مجلس النواب
وأشار باسيل إلى أن الوقت قد حان للطعن في الموازنة، ودعا إلى إدخال تعديلات كبيرة عليها في مجلس النواب، وذلك بهدف تحسين بنودها وضمان أن تكون أكثر توافقًا مع متطلبات المرحلة الاقتصادية والمالية الصعبة التي يعيشها لبنان.
ويُظهر تصريح باسيل حالة التوتر السياسي حول إقرار الموازنة في لبنان، حيث تعتبر الموازنة ركيزة أساسية في الخطط الإصلاحية التي وعدت الحكومة بتطبيقها، لكن هناك تساؤلات مستمرة حول مصداقية هذه الوعود.

“The Budget is the Government's Most Important Task”… Bassil: Where Are the Reforms and Promises of Rescue?
The head of the Free Patriotic Movement (FPM), MP Gebran Bassil, wrote in a post on his X account this Friday that the budget is the most important task the government undertakes, as it reflects its vision. Bassil stressed that the budget serves as a key indicator of the government's commitment to improving Lebanon's economic conditions.
The Budget: A Key Indicator of Post-Election Government Performance
In his post, Bassil added: “The first project for the government was a budget of a resigned government after three years! This means ten months of reforms, in a government that has been in power for fourteen months.” This statement was made to highlight the time passed since the formation of the current government, without any tangible improvements in economic or financial reforms.
Where Are the Reforms? Where Are the Promises of Rescue?
Bassil noted that the International Monetary Fund (IMF) is set to arrive in Lebanon next week, asking: “Where are the reforms? And where are the ministerial statement and the promises of rescue?” These questions reflect the doubts Lebanese citizens have regarding the government's commitment to implementing the reforms that were previously promised, especially as the country continues to grapple with a deep economic crisis.
Challenging and Amending the Budget in the Parliament
Bassil mentioned that it is time to challenge the budget and urged for significant amendments to be made in the Parliament, in order to improve its provisions and ensure that it aligns better with Lebanon's urgent economic and financial needs.
