“إسرائيل ماضية في اغتيالاتها”… عميد يحذّر من تصعيد غير محدود!
تواصل إسرائيل تصعيد انتهاكاتها للأراضي اللبنانية وأجواء لبنان بشكل متزايد، في وقت يتساءل فيه العميد المتقاعد جورج نادر عن مستقبل هذه العمليات، مشيرًا إلى أن إسرائيل لن تتوقف عن عمليات الاغتيال في لبنان، بل ستواصل هذه العمليات حتى التوصل إلى اتفاقية تطبيع بينها وبين لبنان. وحسب العميد نادر، قد يكون هناك اتفاق غير معلن يسمح لإسرائيل بحرية الحركة داخل الأراضي اللبنانية، بمعنى آخر، قد تكون تحركات إسرائيل خارج الإطار القانوني شرعية، إذ قد يتضمن هذا الاتفاق مع الحكومة اللبنانية ضمانات أميركية تمنح لإسرائيل حرية الحركة لمواجهة أي تهديدات تعتبرها خطراً عليها داخل الأراضي اللبنانية.
التساؤلات حول موقف الحكومة اللبنانية
أشار العميد نادر إلى أن السؤال الأهم يكمن في “هل وافقت الحكومة اللبنانية، ممثلة بـ رئيس مجلس النواب نبيه بري و رئيس الحكومة نجيب ميقاتي، على هذه الضمانات بشكل خطّي أو شفهي؟”، مؤكدًا أن هذا السؤال ما يزال يثير القلق. وذكر في هذا السياق أن النائب فراس حمدان قد طرح على الرئيس بري في جلسة منح الثقة للحكومة الجديدة سؤالًا عن تفاصيل اتفاق وقف إطلاق النار، إلا أن رد بري كان غامضًا ولم يقدم توضيحًا شافيًا بشأن هذا الموضوع.
التهديدات الإسرائيلية وغياب الرد الفعلي
فيما يتعلق بإمكانية توسع الهجمات الإسرائيلية لتشمل بيروت، قال العميد نادر: “إسرائيل لا تلتزم بنطاق محدد للهجمات، بل تنفذ ضرباتها في أي مكان تراه مناسبًا، فقد شهدنا استهدافها للهرمل، ولا شيء مستبعدًا في المستقبل، إذ ستواصل استهداف أي هدف تراه ذا قيمة استراتيجية“. وهذا يزيد من القلق، خاصة في ظل غياب اعتراض فعلي سوى الاعتراضات اللفظية والإعلامية، حسب رأيه.
الضغوط والوجود الإسرائيلي
ويتابع نادر: “نأمل أن تمارس الحكومة الحالية و رئيس الجمهورية ضغوطًا على الرئيس بري لمعرفة تفاصيل الاتفاق الذي تم توقيعه، لكي نكون على دراية بحركة إسرائيل المسموح بها”. وأضاف أن “إذا كانت هناك موافقة على وجود إسرائيل في الجنوب، فهذا يعني أن وجودها أصبح شرعيًا، وهو أمر مؤسف. أما إذا لم تكن هناك موافقة، فإن ذلك يعني أن إسرائيل لا تزال تحتل الأراضي اللبنانية”.
وأشار العميد إلى أن “إسرائيل أعلنت أنها ستبقى في لبنان لفترة غير محددة، وهو ما يثير القلق بشأن مستقبل هذا الوجود، وذلك حتى تتمكن من الضغط على لبنان للتطبيع”. وأكد أن فرص حدوث ذلك تعتمد على طريقة الضغط، حيث أن لبنان اليوم يعيش في عصر الهيمنة الأميركية، الذي يصعب مقاومته.

Israel continues to escalate its violations of Lebanese territories and airspace, with Retired General George Nader stating in an interview with Lebanon Debate that Israel will not stop its assassination operations in Lebanon, but will continue them until a normalization agreement is reached between Israel and Lebanon. According to General Nader, there could be an undisclosed agreement that grants Israel the freedom of movement within Lebanese territories, meaning Israel's actions might be considered legally legitimate, potentially backed by U.S. guarantees that allow Israel to act freely against any perceived threats in Lebanon.
Questions About the Lebanese Government’s Stance
General Nader raised the critical question: “Has the Lebanese government, represented by Speaker Nabih Berri and Prime Minister Najib Mikati, agreed to these guarantees either verbally or in writing?” He reminded that MP Firas Hamdan had asked Speaker Berri about the details of the ceasefire agreement during the vote of confidence for the new government, but Berri's response was vague and didn’t provide a clear explanation on the matter.
Israeli Attacks and Lack of Effective Response
Regarding the possibility of Israeli attacks expanding to Beirut, General Nader explained that “Israel does not adhere to a defined scope for its attacks, and it conducts strikes wherever it sees fit. We have seen its targeting of Hermel, and nothing is excluded in the future, as it will continue targeting any strategic target it deems valuable”. This situation raises concern, particularly in light of the lack of effective response beyond verbal and media objections.
Pressure and Israeli Presence
Nader continued, saying: “We hope that the current government and President Michel Aoun will exert pressure on Speaker Berri to clarify the details of the signed agreement so that we understand the movement allowed for Israel”. He added, “If there is approval for Israel’s presence in the south, this means its presence has become legitimate, which is unfortunate. If there is no approval, then Israel still occupies Lebanese territory.”
The general also pointed out that Israel announced that it would remain in Lebanon for an indefinite period, which raises concerns about the future of this presence, as it seeks to pressure Lebanon towards normalization. He emphasized that the chances of this happening depend on the nature of the pressure, as Lebanon today lives in an era of U.S. dominance that is difficult to resist.
