“الاقتصاد” تكثف الرقابة… والبساط يحذر “كل من يتجرأ”!
أعلن وزير الاقتصاد والتجارة اللبناني، عامر البساط، أن مديرية حماية المستهلك قد كثفت من جولاتها الرقابية على المحال التجارية، ومستودعات المواد الغذائية، وأسواق الخضار والفاكهة، منذ بداية شهر رمضان المبارك وفترة الصوم الكبير. وجاء هذا الإعلان استجابةً للتوصيات الصادرة من أجل ضبط الأسواق وحماية حقوق المستهلكين في لبنان.
وأوضح الوزير أن الوزارة قد قامت بتنظيم محاضر ضبط ضد المخالفين، حيث تنوّعت المخالفات التي تم ضبطها بين ارتفاع غير مبرر للأسعار، وانعدام شروط السلامة الغذائية، بالإضافة إلى ضبط مواد غذائية منتهية الصلاحية. كما تم إحالة 31 محضر ضبط إلى القضاء المختص لاتخاذ الإجراءات القانونية المناسبة بحق المخالفين.
استمرار الجولات الرقابية خلال رمضان
وشدد الوزير البساط على أن الوزارة ستواصل تكثيف الجولات الرقابية خلال شهر رمضان لضمان حماية المواطنين والمستهلكين من أي استغلال غير مشروع. كما أعلن أنه سيعرض قريبًا ملف تشكيل هيئة المنافسة أمام مجلس الوزراء لمكافحة الاحتكار وحماية الاقتصاد الوطني.
دعوة للمشاركة في ضبط السوق
ودعا الوزير المواطنين إلى المساهمة في ضبط السوق عبر الإبلاغ عن أي مخالفة أو استغلال يتعرضون له، من خلال تقديم شكاوى مباشرة إلى الوزارة عبر تطبيق “MOET Digital Services” الإلكتروني.
وختم الوزير تحذيره قائلاً: “إن أي شخص يتجرأ على مضاعفة أرباحه بطرق غير مشروعة سيواجه الإجراءات القانونية”، مشددًا على أن مديرية حماية المستهلك ستواصل ملاحقة المخالفين واتخاذ الإجراءات القانونية بحقهم.
“Economy Ministry Intensifies Monitoring… Bassat Warns ‘Anyone Who Dares'!”
Lebanese Minister of Economy and Trade, Amin Al-Bassat, announced that the Consumer Protection Directorate has intensified its monitoring efforts on retail stores, food warehouses, and fruit and vegetable markets since the beginning of Ramadan and Lent. This decision was made based on recommendations to regulate markets and protect consumer rights in Lebanon.
The minister confirmed that several violations have been documented, including unjustified price hikes, lack of food safety standards, and the discovery of expired products. In total, 31 violation reports have been referred to the competent judiciary for appropriate legal action.
Continued Monitoring Throughout Ramadan
Minister Al-Bassat emphasized that the ministry will continue to intensify its monitoring efforts throughout Ramadan to protect citizens and consumers from any illegal exploitation. He also announced that he would soon present the competition authority formation file to the Cabinet to combat monopolies and protect the national economy.
Call for Public Participation in Regulating the Market
The minister urged citizens to contribute to market regulation by reporting any violations or exploitation they encounter, through submitting direct complaints to the ministry via the electronic application “MOET Digital Services”.
He concluded with a warning for anyone attempting to inflate profits through unlawful means, stressing that the Consumer Protection Directorate will continue to pursue violators and take the necessary legal steps against them.
