“الجيش الإسرائيلي يستعدّ للانسحاب الكامل من لبنان خلال أيام”
كشفت صحيفة “يسرائيل هيوم” الإسرائيلية، اليوم الأحد، أن قوات الجيش الإسرائيلي تستعد لمغادرة لبنان بالكامل خلال اليومين المقبلين، في ظل تطورات متسارعة على الصعيد الأمني والسياسي.
وأكدت مصادر أمنية للصحيفة أن القوات الإسرائيلية “بانتظار توجيهات القيادة السياسية بشأن الانسحاب الكامل أو البقاء لفترة أطول في جنوب لبنان”، مشيرة إلى أنه “حتى الآن لم تصدر القيادة السياسية تعليمات رسمية بشأن الإبقاء على أي وجود عسكري إسرائيلي في الجنوب اللبناني”.
وأضافت المصادر أن الجيش الإسرائيلي سيعزز وجوده على الحدود مع لبنان بعد الانسحاب، ليكون انتشاره هناك أقوى بثلاثة أضعاف مما كان عليه قبل الحرب.
في السياق ذاته، أفادت وسائل إعلام إسرائيلية، اليوم الأحد، بأن هناك تقديرات لدى القيادة العسكرية الإسرائيلية بأن الانسحاب سيتم خلال أيام بالتزامن مع انتشار الجيش اللبناني في المناطق الجنوبية.
ووفقًا لصحيفة “يديعوت أحرونوت”، فإن “إسرائيل لا تزال تتمسك بالسيطرة العسكرية على خمس نقاط استراتيجية على طول الحدود اللبنانية، بينما لا تستبعد تل أبيب إمكانية تمديد وقف إطلاق النار مجددًا، ما قد يمنحها مزيدًا من الوقت لاستكمال انسحاب قواتها من الجنوب اللبناني”.
كما أشارت الصحيفة إلى أن “التقدم في المفاوضات حول الانسحاب يتماشى مع خطة إسرائيل لإعادة مستوطني الشمال إلى قراهم ومستوطناتهم بعد الانسحاب الكامل من لبنان”.
وكانت إسرائيل قد أخّرت تنفيذ الانسحاب عدة مرات، حيث كان من المقرر أن تنسحب بالكامل بحلول فجر 26 كانون الثاني الماضي وفقًا لاتفاق وقف إطلاق النار الذي دخل حيز التنفيذ في 27 تشرين الثاني 2024، لكنه تأجل بقرار أميركي إسرائيلي مشترك حتى 18 شباط الجاري.
“Israeli Army Prepares for Complete Withdrawal from Lebanon in the Coming Days”
Israeli newspaper Israel Hayom reported on Sunday that the Israeli military is preparing for a full withdrawal from Lebanon within the next two days, amid rapidly evolving security and political developments.
Security sources told the newspaper that Israeli forces are “awaiting political leadership directives regarding either a full withdrawal or an extended stay in South Lebanon.” They also confirmed that “no official instructions have been issued yet concerning maintaining any Israeli military presence in southern Lebanon.”
According to the same sources, the Israeli army plans to strengthen its forces along the Lebanese border post-withdrawal, increasing its deployment threefold compared to pre-war levels.
Meanwhile, Israeli media outlets reported that military leadership expects the withdrawal to take place within days, coinciding with the deployment of the Lebanese army in the southern regions.
Yedioth Ahronoth also reported that “Israel remains firm on maintaining military control over five strategic points along the Lebanon border while not ruling out the possibility of extending the ceasefire again, which could provide additional time for a complete withdrawal from South Lebanon.”
The newspaper added that “negotiations surrounding the withdrawal align with Israel’s plan to facilitate the return of northern settlers to their homes after the full withdrawal from Lebanon.”
Israel had previously postponed the withdrawal, originally scheduled for January 26, under the terms of the ceasefire agreement that took effect on November 27, 2024. However, Washington later announced an extension until February 18 through an Israeli-Lebanese agreement.
