السيّد: الأمن لا يستأذن أحدًا ولا ينتظر أوامر
كتب النائب جميل السيّد على حسابه عبر “إكس”، منتقدًا تكرار الحوادث على طريق المطار، مشيرًا إلى أن الطريق يشكل مصلحة عامة للبلد ولجميع اللبنانيين. وأضاف السيّد، أن الطريق لا يتجاوز طوله بضعة كيلومترات، ورغم ذلك فقد أصبح مسرحًا لحوادث السلب المتكررة. كما أكّد أنه منذ أكثر من عام، تم التحرك بشكل كبير لمواجهة تلك الحوادث، حيث تم تحريك القوى الأمنية التي استجابت بشكل إيجابي بتسيير الدوريات، مما ساعد في تحسين الوضع لفترة قصيرة.
وأعاد السيّد التذكير بأن الطريق شهد مؤخرًا العديد من الحوادث والمشاغبات التي تسببت في قطع الطريق أكثر من مرة، حتى وصل الأمر إلى الحادثة التي طالت قوات “اليونيفيل”، في إشارة إلى الهجوم الذي استهدف قافلة الأمم المتحدة في بيروت. وأعرب عن استيائه من تكرار هذه المشاغبات في الفترة الأخيرة، معتبرًا أن الأمر يتطلب تدخلاً حاسمًا لمنع تكرار هذه الحوادث.
وتساءل السيّد: “ماذا يمنع الجيش والأجهزة الأمنية من وضع تلك المنطقة الحساسة تحت المراقبة الدائمة؟”، مؤكدًا على أهمية التدخل السريع لتجنب تعطيل حركة المطار أو الإضرار بسمعة لبنان في العالم. وأوضح السيّد أن ممارسة الأمن تتطلب عدم الاستئذان أو انتظار أوامر سياسية، بل أن الأمن يجب أن يتدخل فورًا دون تأخير.
وختم السيّد بتأكيده على أن أي تأخير في تدخل الأجهزة الأمنية قد يؤدي إلى نتائج سلبية، مما يزيد من الكلفة والمفاجآت التي قد تحدث في المستقبل. كما أشار إلى احتجاجات مؤيدي حزب الله التي اندلعت في وقت متأخر من الخميس الماضي، حيث قام المتظاهرون بقطع الطرق حول مطار بيروت احتجاجًا على منع طائرة إيرانية من الهبوط في مطار رفيق الحريري الدولي، مما يعكس تصاعد التوترات في المنطقة.

Sayyed: Security Does Not Ask for Permission and Does Not Wait for Orders
Deputy Jamal Sayyed wrote on his Twitter account, criticizing the repeated incidents on the Airport Road, noting that the road is of public interest for the entire country and all Lebanese. He pointed out that the road is only a few kilometers long, yet it has become a hotspot for repeated thefts. Sayyed emphasized that over a year ago, significant efforts were made to address these incidents, including mobilizing security forces that responded positively by patrolling the area, which helped temporarily improve the situation.
Sayyed also reminded the public that in recent times, the road has witnessed numerous disturbances that led to it being cut off repeatedly, culminating in the attack on the “UNIFIL” convoy, referring to the attack on the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon in Beirut. He expressed his frustration with the recurrence of these disturbances in recent months, stressing that decisive intervention is needed to prevent these incidents from happening again.
He asked, “What prevents the army and security agencies from placing this sensitive area under permanent surveillance?” stressing the importance of immediate intervention to avoid disrupting airport operations or damaging Lebanon's reputation on the global stage. Sayyed emphasized that security enforcement should not require permission or political orders, but rather security forces should intervene immediately without delay.
He concluded by asserting that any delay in security intervention could lead to negative outcomes, increasing costs and unexpected surprises in the future. He also referred to protests by Hezbollah supporters that took place late Thursday, where demonstrators blocked roads around Beirut Airport in protest of the prevention of an Iranian plane from landing at Rafic Hariri International Airport, reflecting escalating tensions in the region.
