أصدرت قيادة الجيش اللبناني – مديرية التوجيه، اليوم السبت، بيانًا رسميًا أعلنت فيه أن القوات العسكرية المنتشرة على الحدود الشمالية والشرقية قد بدأت تنفيذ تعليمات رئيس الجمهورية العماد جوزاف عون، حيث تم تكليف الوحدات العسكرية بالرد على مصادر النيران التي يتم إطلاقها من الأراضي السورية والتي تستهدف الأراضي اللبنانية.
ويأتي هذا القرار في أعقاب سلسلة من الاشتباكات التي تعرضت خلالها العديد من المناطق اللبنانية للقصف وإطلاق النار من الجانب السوري. في إطار ذلك، باشرت وحدات الجيش اللبناني العمل بالأسلحة المناسبة ضد مصادر النيران المتجهة نحو الأراضي اللبنانية، وذلك لتأمين سلامة المواطنين والمناطق الحدودية.
وقد أكد بيان قيادة الجيش أن القوات اللبنانية ستواصل اتخاذ كافة الإجراءات العسكرية اللازمة للرد على أي تهديدات أمنية قادمة من الأراضي السورية، مع التأكيد على تعزيز الأمن على الحدود ومنع أي هجمات تستهدف سيادة لبنان.

Today, Saturday, the Lebanese Army Command – Directorate of Guidance issued an official statement in which it was announced that military units deployed along the northern and eastern borders have begun implementing the instructions of President Michel Aoun. These units were ordered to respond to gunfire sources fired from Syrian territory, which target Lebanese soil.
This decision comes in the wake of several clashes during which multiple Lebanese regions were shelled and subjected to gunfire from the Syrian side. As a result, Lebanese army units have started responding with appropriate weaponry to target the sources of fire directed towards Lebanese territories, ensuring the safety of civilians and border regions.
The statement emphasized that the Lebanese military will continue to take all necessary actions to respond to any security threats originating from Syrian territory, with a strong commitment to securing Lebanon’s borders and preventing attacks on Lebanon's sovereignty.
