“لو وقفنا وحيدين”… باسيل: حتماً لن نقبل!
كتب رئيس “التيار الوطني الحر”، النائب جبران باسيل، اليوم السبت، منشورًا على حسابه عبر منصة “إكس”، حيث أكد فيه موقفه الثابت والصارم قائلاً: “قلت إننا لا نتمسك بأي شيء، ولكننا لا نقبل بأي شيء”.
وأردف باسيل في منشوره قائلاً: “نحن لا نقبل أن يحدد أحد من يمثلنا، لا نقبل أن يتنكر أحد لهويتنا ونضالنا، ولا نقبل أن نتخلى عن حقوقنا ودورنا”.
واستكمل: “لم نقبل أن يمد أحد يده على قرارنا، وبالطبع على كرامتنا”، مؤكدًا أن “من لا يقدر على احترام حقوقنا لن نسمح له بالتعدي عليها”.
وأضاف باسيل قائلاً: “لم نقبل أن يفرض أحد علينا شيئًا من غير قناعتنا حتى ولو تعرضنا للعقوبات، ولم نقبل أن يأخذ أحد توقيعنا تحت أي ضغوط، ولو تعرضنا للاضطهاد”. وختم بالقول: “وحتماً لن نقبل، مهما كان الثمن”.
وأشار باسيل إلى أن هذه ليست المرة الأولى التي يواجه فيها “تحالفًا رباعيًا” ضد التيار الوطني الحر، مؤكداً أنهم سيتصدون له مهما تكرر الأمر.
واختتم منشوره مؤكداً أن “في النهاية، سنقف لما نؤمن به، ولو وقفنا وحيدين”.

“If We Stand Alone”… Bassil: We Will Certainly Not Accept!
The head of the “Free Patriotic Movement”, MP Gebran Bassil, wrote on his account on the “X” platform today, emphasizing his firm and unwavering stance, saying: “I said we do not cling to anything, but we will not accept just anything.”
Bassil continued in his post: “We will not accept anyone deciding who represents us, we will not accept anyone denying our identity and our struggle, and we will not accept abandoning our rights and role.”
He further stated: “We did not accept anyone tampering with our decision, and certainly, not with our dignity,” stressing that “those who cannot respect our rights will not be allowed to violate them.”
Bassil added: “We did not accept anyone imposing anything on us without our consent, even if we faced sanctions, and we did not accept anyone taking our signature under pressure, even if we were persecuted.” He concluded by saying: “And we certainly will not accept, no matter the cost.”
Bassil noted that this was not the first time they were facing a “quadripartite alliance” against the Free Patriotic Movement, affirming that they would confront it, no matter how many times it recurs.
He ended his post by asserting that “In the end, we will stand for what we believe in, even if we stand alone.”
