#### Position Overview

As the **Casework Supervisor for HSPRS**, you will play a pivotal role in the growth of our Home Study and Post-Release Services program, which is expanding from six to over 17 IRC offices across the U.S. This national initiative, supported by a multi-million-dollar budget, aims to ensure the safety and well-being of unaccompanied children during their transition to sponsors' care.

**Key Program Objectives:**

– **Home Study:** Evaluate the safety and suitability of potential sponsors before the release of unaccompanied children from custody.
– **Post-Release Services:** Offer case management support, including remote assistance and in-home visits, to maintain the safety and stability of children in their sponsors' homes while connecting them with community resources.

#### Responsibilities

As the Casework Supervisor, you will provide trauma-informed supervision to both Level 1 Caseworkers and Level 2 Senior Caseworkers, while also advising Level 3 Crisis Case Managers. Your primary responsibilities will include:

– Overseeing a team of four to six Caseworkers and Senior Caseworkers.
– Advising Crisis Case Managers on complex cases.
– Monitoring case management services, ensuring compliance with documentation accuracy, policy adherence, and case load guidelines.
– Serving as an escalation point for staff handling challenging cases, collaborating with child welfare and law enforcement as necessary.
– Facilitating onboarding and continuous professional development for case management staff.
– Analyzing data and compiling monthly reports for the Regional Manager, highlighting service trends, concerns, and challenges.
– Building a robust referral network to support community services.
– Promoting teamwork among remote staff in various geographical locations.
– Maintaining precise electronic records and timely report submissions.
– Utilizing a child-centered, developmentally appropriate, and trauma-informed approach to address the needs of children and sponsors.
– Upholding confidentiality and safeguarding standards while carrying a small caseload to ensure effective service delivery.

#### Qualifications

To be considered for the Casework Supervisor role, candidates must possess:

– A Master's degree in Behavioral Sciences, Human Services, or Social Services, or a Bachelor's degree with a minimum of three years of relevant supervisory and case management experience.
– At least one year of supervisory experience, including program oversight and compliance monitoring.
– Experience in Home Study and Post-Release Services case management.
– Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
– Proven ability to manage complex client situations with a focus on safety and child protection.
– Proficiency in data analysis and report writing.
– Knowledge of federal, state, and local social service systems and community referral mapping.
– Demonstrated success in a multicultural environment.
– Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
– Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and other relevant platforms.
– Clearance and approval from the Office of Refugee Resettlement, including a background check.

#### Working Environment

The Casework Supervisor will primarily work virtually but may be required to attend in-person meetings at the local office. Flexibility in work hours, including evenings and weekends, will be necessary to accommodate the schedules of sponsors and children.
