وأشار البيان إلى أن الوزير الحجار قد طلب من المديرية العامة لقوى الأمن الداخلي القيام بالتحقيقات اللازمة لتحديد الجهات التي قامت بفبركة هذا الخبر ونشره على وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي. كما شدد على ضرورة اتخاذ الإجراءات القانونية المناسبة ضد المسؤولين عن ترويج هذه المعلومات الكاذبة، بهدف حماية الحقيقة والحفاظ على استقرار الوضع الاجتماعي في البلاد.
ويأتي هذا البيان بعد أن أثار الخبر المزعوم حالة من الجدل على منصات التواصل الاجتماعي، حيث تم تداول معلومات مغلوطة حول فرض قيود على إحياء ذكرى عاشوراء في الشوارع. لكن تأكيد وزير الداخلية أعاد الطمأنينة إلى الجمهور، وأكد أن الفعاليات العاشورائية ستتم وفقًا للقوانين والتقاليد المعتادة.
