قال المتحدث باسم الحكومة الإسرائيلية إن “إسرائيل تعتبر الحكومة اللبنانية مسؤولة عن أي هجوم ينطلق من الأراضي اللبنانية”، مؤكدًا أن إسرائيل ترى أن الحكومة في بيروت تتحمل المسؤولية في منع حزب الله من توسيع أنشطته العسكرية.

وفيما يتعلق بالملف الإيراني، أكد المتحدث أن “إسرائيل ستواصل سياسة الضغط القصوى ضد إيران”، مشددًا على أن “إسرائيل تدعم السلام وليس لديها أي مشكلة مع الشعب الإيراني”، لكن النظام الإيراني، وفقًا له، هو من يشكل التهديد، وأشار إلى أن إسرائيل “لن تسمح لإيران بامتلاك سلاح نووي”. كما أكد المتحدث على أن بلاده نجحت في “حماية نفسها من النظام الإيراني”.
