أصدرت مشيخة العقل لطائفة الموحدين الدروز اليوم الأحد تعميماً بمناسبة اقتراب عيد الأضحى المبارك، حيث تقدمت بتهنئة حارة إلى أبناء الطائفة متمنية لهم دوام العافية والأمان في أوطانهم وبلدان الانتشار.
عبّرت المشيخة عن أملها أن يحمل العيد بشائر الخير والطمأنينة والسلام للبنان وكافة الأوطان، وأن يُثمر بوادر الجمع والتآلف والتكاتف داخل المجتمع وفي المجتمعات كافة.
وأعلنت المشيخة اعتذار سماحة شيخ العقل ورئيس المجلس المذهبي عن استقبال التهاني في دار الطائفة في بيروت، تضامناً مع الأهالي المعانين، لا سيما في قرى السويداء وجرمانا وصحنايا والأشرفية، واحتراماً لدماء الشهداء وآلام المصابين.
ودعت المشيخة أبناء الطائفة إلى التخفيف قدر الإمكان من مظاهر الاحتفال والاكتفاء بالتهاني العائلية والاجتماعية، مراعاةً للظروف الاستثنائية التي تمر بها البلاد، مع التشديد على أهمية تعميق فهم معاني العيد وقيمه الأصيلة كالمحبة والتواضع والتضحية والإحسان.
“Druze Spiritual Authority Issues Eid al-Adha Greetings and Calls for Unity and Modesty Amid Challenging Times”
The Spiritual Authority of the Druze Unitarian Community issued a circular today, Sunday, on the occasion of the approaching Eid al-Adha, extending warm greetings to the community’s members, wishing them health and safety in their homelands and diaspora.
The Authority expressed hope that the Eid would bring good tidings of peace and tranquility to Lebanon and all nations, fostering unity, solidarity, and cohesion within society and beyond.
It also announced the Sheikh of the Druze Spiritual Authority’s apology for not receiving greetings at the community’s headquarters in Beirut, as a gesture of solidarity with suffering residents, particularly in the villages of Sweida, Jaramana, Sahnaiya, and Ashrafieh, and out of respect for the martyrs’ blood and the injured’s pain.
The Authority called on the community members to minimize festive displays and restrict celebrations to family and social greetings, taking into account the exceptional circumstances the country is undergoing, emphasizing the importance of embracing Eid’s true values of love, humility, sacrifice, and benevolence.
