تم انتخاب عبد الحميد كريمة رئيسًا لبلدية طرابلس بعد حصوله على 13 صوتًا مقابل 11 صوتًا لمنافسه وائل زمرلي، وذلك في جلسة انتخابية جرت تحت إشراف محافظ الشمال بالإنابة وأمينة سر عام المحافظة إيمان الرافعي، في قاعة الاستقلال بسرايا طرابلس.
وفي إطار متصل، تم انتخاب عبد الله كبارة رئيسًا لبلدية الميناء في جلسة انتخابية عُقدت في سرايا طرابلس، حيث نال ثقة غالبية أعضاء المجلس البلدي المنتخبين بحصوله على 13 صوتًا مقابل 8 أصوات حصل عليها المهندس فادي السيد. كما فاز رامي دبس بمنصب نائب الرئيس بالإجماع.
جرت عملية الانتخاب بحضور محافظ الشمال بالإنابة وأمينة سر عام المحافظة إيمان الرافعي، ورئيس دائرة البلديات في المحافظة ملحم ملحم.
بعد إعلان النتائج، أعربت المحافظ الرافعي عن تمنياتها بالتوفيق للرئيس المنتخب ونائبه وأعضاء المجلس البلدي، مؤكدة على أهمية توحيد الجهود للنهوض بمدينة طرابلس وآفاقها المستقبلية.

Abdel Hamid Karima was elected mayor of Tripoli, securing 13 votes against his competitor Wael Zumrali’s 11 votes, during a session supervised by the Acting North Governor and Secretary General of the Governorate, Iman Al-Rafi’i, held in the Independence Hall at Tripoli’s Saraya.
In a related development, Abdullah Kabbara was elected mayor of Mina Municipality during a session held at Tripoli’s Saraya. He earned the confidence of the majority of elected municipal council members with 13 votes against engineer Fadi Al-Sayyed’s 8 votes. Rami Dibs was unanimously elected as deputy mayor.
The elections took place in the presence of the Acting North Governor, Secretary General Iman Al-Rafi’i, and the Head of the Municipalities Division in the governorate, Melhem Melhem.
Following the announcement of the results, Governor Al-Rafi’i expressed her best wishes for success to the elected mayor, his deputy, and all council members, emphasizing the importance of unified efforts to advance the city of Tripoli and its future prospects.
