أعلنت المديرية العامة لقوى الأمن الداخلي، عبر شعبة العلاقات العامة، عن إيقاف امرأة وشخصين متورطين بمحاولة تهريب كمية كبيرة من حبوب “الكبتاغون” المخدرة عبر طرد بريدي.
جاء ذلك ضمن متابعة مستمرة تقوم بها قوى الأمن الداخلي لملاحقة تجار المخدرات ومهربيها في جميع مناطق لبنان، وذلك من خلال خطة أمنية وضعتها وحدة الشرطة القضائية لمكافحة هذه الآفة.
تم ضبط طرد بريدي من قبل جمارك المطار يحتوي على 3.2 كلغ من حبوب الكبتاغون، مخبأة بطريقة احترافية داخل طاولات خشبية مخصصة للنراجيل، وكانت معدة لتهريبها إلى إحدى الدول الأوروبية عبر شركة شحن.
باشرت عناصر مكتب مكافحة المخدرات المركزي استقصاءاتها لتعقب المتورطين، حيث تم تحديد موقع المرسلة في منطقة القبّة بطرابلس، وتوقيفها بالتنسيق مع مكتب مكافحة المخدرات الإقليمي.
الموقوفة هي ج. ت. (مواليد 1968، لبنانية). بالتوسع في التحقيقات، تم التعرف على الشخص الذي جهز الطرد وشريكه في منطقة باب الحديد بطرابلس، وتم نصب كمائن محكمة لهما وتوقيفهما في عمليتين متزامنتين، وهما: ا. ه. (مواليد 1980، لبناني) ور. م. (مواليد 1976، لبناني).
اعترف المتهمون بما نسب إليهم، وتم حجز سيارة ودراجة آلية تعود إليهم، مع استمرار العمل لتوقيف باقي أفراد الشبكة بالتنسيق مع القضاء المختص.
“Drug Trafficking Network Arrested: 3.2 kg of Captagon Pills Seized via Postal Package”
The General Directorate of Internal Security Forces, through its Public Relations Division, announced the arrest of a woman and two men involved in an attempted trafficking of a large quantity of Captagon pills via a postal package.
This operation is part of the ongoing efforts by the Internal Security Forces to track down drug dealers and smugglers across Lebanon, under a security plan set by the Judicial Police Unit to combat this menace.
Customs at the airport seized a postal package containing 3.2 kilograms of Captagon pills, expertly concealed inside wooden tables designed for hookahs. The shipment was destined for a European country via a shipping company.
The Central Drug Enforcement Bureau launched investigations to trace the suspects, identifying the sender’s location in the Qubbeh area of Tripoli and arresting her in coordination with the Regional Drug Enforcement Office.
The arrested woman is J.T. (born 1968, Lebanese). Further investigations identified the person who packaged the shipment and his accomplice in Bab al-Hadid area of Tripoli. Both were apprehended in simultaneous operations: A.H. (born 1980, Lebanese) and R.M. (born 1976, Lebanese).
The suspects confessed to the charges, and a car and a motorcycle belonging to them were seized. Efforts continue to arrest the remaining network members in coordination with the competent judiciary.
