أصدر النائب العام الاستئنافي في الجنوب، القاضي رهيف رمضان، قرارًا بتوقيف المرشح على انتخابات بلدية أنان في قضاء جزين، س. إ، والمواطن ج. ح، على خلفية تسجيل صوتي مسرب يُوثق محاولة رشوة انتخابية صريحة.
ويوثق التسجيل عرض المرشح مبلغ 300 دولار على الناخب مقابل التصويت له، وتطور الحوار لاحقًا إلى تفاوض حول قيمة الصوت، في خرق واضح وصريح لقانون الانتخابات اللبناني.
وبناءً على ذلك، تم توقيف الشخصين باعتبارهما راشيًا ومرتشيًا، فيما تابعت الجمعية اللبنانية من أجل ديمقراطية الانتخابات (لادي) نشر الخبر عبر حسابها الرسمي على منصة “أكس”، مرفقًا بمقطع الفيديو الذي وثّق المحاولة.
وكانت “لادي” قد تلقت الفيديو من أحد المواطنين، يظهر فيه اتصالًا هاتفيًا أجراه المرشح بأحد الناخبين في بلدة أنان، محاولًا إغرائه بالمال مقابل التصويت.
هذه الواقعة تأتي في إطار محاولات مكافحة الفساد الانتخابي في لبنان، وتؤكد على أهمية تعزيز الرقابة لمنع مثل هذه الممارسات التي تهدد نزاهة العملية الانتخابية.

Leaked Audio Reveals $300 Vote Bribery Attempt in Jezzine District; Candidate and Voter Arrested
The South Lebanon Appeal Prosecutor, Judge Raheef Ramadan, has ordered the arrest of candidate S. E. running for the municipal elections in Anan, Jezzine district, and citizen J. H., following a leaked audio recording documenting a clear vote-buying attempt.
The recording captures the candidate offering $300 to the voter in exchange for their vote, with the conversation escalating to a negotiation over the vote price, a blatant violation of Lebanese election law.
Consequently, both individuals were detained as the briber and bribee. The Lebanese Association for Democratic Elections (LADE) published the news via its official account on the “X” platform, attaching the video clip that evidences the bribery attempt.
LADE reported receiving the video from a citizen showing a phone call made by the candidate to a voter in Anan town, attempting to entice them with money in exchange for their vote.
This incident highlights ongoing efforts to combat electoral corruption in Lebanon and stresses the critical need for enhanced monitoring to safeguard the integrity of the electoral process.
