وأوضح ولي العهد أن تحقيق الاستقرار في لبنان لا يتحقق إلا من خلال حصر السلاح في يد الدولة اللبنانية، حيث تعد هذه الخطوة أساسية لضمان سيادة لبنان واستقلاله في اتخاذ القرارات السياسية دون أي تدخلات من أطراف خارجية. ومن خلال هذا الموقف، تسعى المملكة إلى ضمان لبنان كدولة ذات سيادة كاملة، قادرة على اتخاذ قراراتها بحرية تامة.
