“وزير الدفاع اللبناني: الجيش سيلاحق مطلقي النار العشوائية خلال الانتخابات لضمان الأمن”
صدر عن مكتب وزير الدفاع الوطني اللبناني، اللواء ميشال منسى، بيانٌ أكد فيه على جدية الجيش اللبناني في التعامل مع ظاهرة إطلاق النار العشوائية التي شهدتها بعض المناطق خلال الانتخابات الأخيرة. وأشار الوزير إلى أن هذه الممارسات غير المسؤولة أسفرت عن سقوط ضحايا أبرياء، مؤكداً أن هؤلاء الضحايا ليس لهم ذنب سوى أنهم كانوا في المكان الخطأ في الوقت الخطأ بسبب تصرفات أشخاص غير مسؤولين.
وأضاف الوزير منسى: “إن ظاهرة إطلاق النار العشوائي تضر بشكل مباشر بصورة العملية الانتخابية التي جرت اليوم تحت رعاية الجيش اللبناني والقوى الأمنية، مؤكداً أن هذه التصرفات السلبية تؤثر على استقرار لبنان وأمنه وتعرض حياة المواطنين للخطر. كما شدد على أن هذه الممارسات المؤذية يجب أن تنتهي، وأن الجيش اللبناني لن يقف مكتوف اليدين في مواجهة هذه التصرفات”.
وفي ختام البيان، أشار وزير الدفاع إلى أن الجيش اللبناني سيُلاحق مطلوبي النار العشوائية بكل حزم وجدية، وسيعمل على توقيفهم وإحالتهم إلى القضاء المختص، لضمان أن العملية الانتخابية تجرى في أجواء من الأمان والاستقرار دون أن يتعرض المواطنون لأي خطر.

“Lebanese Defense Minister: Army to Pursue Random Gunfire Offenders During Elections to Ensure Security”
A statement was issued by the Office of Lebanese Defense Minister, General Michel Mansa, emphasizing the Lebanese Army's commitment to tackling the issue of random gunfire witnessed in various regions during the recent elections. The minister highlighted that these irresponsible actions have resulted in innocent victims, pointing out that these individuals were simply in the wrong place at the wrong time, as a result of actions by irresponsible individuals.
Minister Aoun further stated: “The issue of random gunfire is directly harmful to the image of the election process, which was held today under the protection of the Lebanese Army and security forces. These disruptive practices are damaging to Lebanon’s stability, security, and the safety of its citizens.” He emphasized that such harmful practices must come to an end and that the Lebanese army will not stand idly by when confronting these actions.
In conclusion, the Defense Minister assured that the Lebanese Army would pursue those responsible for random gunfire with decisiveness and seriousness, and they would be arrested and referred to the appropriate judicial authorities to ensure that the election process is conducted in an environment of security and stability without putting citizens at risk.
