أكد وزير العدل القاضي عادل نصّار في تصريح له عبر “تلفزيون لبنان” أن الانتخابات البلدية في بيروت تمثل استمرارية وترسيخًا للديمقراطية في لبنان، مشددًا على أنه لا توجد أي نية لتأجيل هذا الاستحقاق الوطني. وأوضح نصّار أن هذه الانتخابات هي جزء من تعزيز ركائز الجمهورية اللبنانية، وهو ما يعتبر أمرًا أساسيًا للحفاظ على استقرار البلاد.
تحية للجهود المبذولة من وزارة الداخلية وفريق العمل
وجه الوزير نصّار تحية إلى وزير الداخلية وفريق العمل على الجهد الكبير الذي بذلوه لضمان نجاح الانتخابات البلدية في بيروت، حيث وصفه بـ”الجهد الجبار”. وأكد أن الجميع، بما في ذلك النيابات العامة، في حالة استعداد تام للتدخل في حال حدوث أي طارئ أو مشكلة أثناء سير الانتخابات.
عدد الترشيحات وتأكيد على استمرارية الجمهورية
وأشار نصّار إلى أن عدد الترشيحات في هذه الدورة فاق العدد في الدورات السابقة، وهو ما يعكس إقبال المواطنين على المشاركة في هذا الاستحقاق الديمقراطي. وأضاف أن إجراء الانتخابات في موعدها هو دليل على استمرارية الجمهورية اللبنانية ومبادئها الدستورية التي يجب الحفاظ عليها.
النيابات العامة في جهوزية تامة
وأكد وزير العدل أن النيابات العامة جاهزة بالكامل للتعامل مع أي طارئ قد يحدث خلال الانتخابات، متعهدًا بمواصلة العمل على ضمان سير العملية الانتخابية بسلاسة ووفقًا للقانون. كما أكد على التزام وزارة العدل بتوفير كل الدعم لضمان نزاهة الانتخابات وحمايتها من أي خروقات.

Minister Nassar expressed his appreciation to the Minister of the Interior and the team for the tremendous efforts they put in to ensure the success of the Beirut municipal elections.
