“الجيش اللبناني ينجح في إحباط عملية إطلاق صواريخ من الجنوب: ضبط صواريخ ومنصات إطلاق”
في بيان رسمي صادر عن قيادة الجيش اللبناني – مديرية التوجيه، يوم الأحد، أعلنت المديرية عن نجاح الجيش في إحباط عملية إطلاق صواريخ كانت تهدد الأمن في الجنوب اللبناني. جاء في البيان أنه استكمالًا للبيان الذي أصدرته المديرية في 16 أبريل 2025، والمتعلق بتوقيف عدد من أفراد المجموعة التي نفذت عمليتي إطلاق صواريخ في جنوب لبنان، فقد أظهرت التحقيقات المستمرة والرصد الدقيق وجود معلومات جديدة حول تحضير المجموعة لعملية جديدة كانت تستهدف الأراضي الفلسطينية المحتلة.
وأشارت المديرية إلى أن المعلومات التي توفرت لديها كشفت عن خطط للإعداد لإطلاق صواريخ باتجاه المناطق المحتلة من قبل إسرائيل. بناءً على هذه المعطيات، نفذت دورية من مديرية المخابرات مدعومة بوحدة من الجيش اللبناني عملية دهم واسعة في منطقة صيدا – الزهراني، حيث تمكنت من ضبط عدد كبير من الصواريخ بالإضافة إلى منصات الإطلاق المخصصة لها. وقد أسفرت العملية عن توقيف عدة أشخاص متورطين في التحضير لهذه العملية العدائية.
وأضاف البيان أنه تم تسليم الصواريخ المضبوطة للجهات المختصة، وبدأت التحقيقات مع الموقوفين بإشراف القضاء المختص، وذلك لاتخاذ الإجراءات القانونية المناسبة. هذه العملية تأتي في إطار الجهود المستمرة التي يبذلها الجيش اللبناني لحماية الأمن الوطني ومواجهة أي تهديدات أمنية قد تمس سيادة البلاد واستقرارها.
وأكدت القيادة العسكرية أن الجيش اللبناني يواصل عمله بكل عزيمة وجدية لضمان الأمن في جميع أنحاء لبنان، وأنه سيتابع ملاحقة أي محاولات لزعزعة الاستقرار في الجنوب اللبناني أو غيره من المناطق.
“Lebanese Army Foils Rocket Launching Attempt from the South: Rockets and Launch Pads Seized”
In an official statement released by the Lebanese Army Command – Directorate of Guidance, on Sunday, the military reported a significant success in thwarting an attempted rocket launch aimed at threatening security in southern Lebanon. The statement noted that this operation follows a prior report issued on April 16, 2025, regarding the arrest of several individuals involved in two previous rocket launch attempts in southern Lebanon. Continuous investigations and careful monitoring led to the discovery of new information about preparations for another rocket attack targeting the occupied Palestinian territories.
The statement emphasized that intelligence gathered revealed plans to launch rockets towards Israeli-occupied areas. In response to this information, a security raid was carried out by a team from the Directorate of Intelligence, supported by an army unit, in the Sidon-Zahrani region. The operation resulted in the seizure of several rockets and their corresponding launch pads. Several individuals involved in the planning and preparation of the attack were also arrested.
It was further stated that the seized weapons were handed over to the appropriate authorities, and investigations with the detainees began under the supervision of the competent judicial authorities, with legal proceedings expected to follow. This operation is part of the Lebanese Army’s ongoing efforts to safeguard national security and address any security threats that could compromise the country's sovereignty and stability.
The military leadership affirmed that the Lebanese Army remains committed to securing Lebanon, continuing its efforts to protect the nation from any destabilizing actions in the south or other areas of the country.
