“جنبلاط: حزب الله انتهى كحزب عسكري وإسرائيل قد تبدأ حربًا طويلة ضد إيران!”
اعتبر الرئيس السابق للحزب التقدمي الاشتراكي، وليد جنبلاط، أن منطقة الشرق الأوسط دخلت “العصر الإسرائيلي” منذ ما قبل 7 تشرين الأول، مع احتلال العراق وتقسيمه، مشيرًا إلى أن إسرائيل بدأت التمدد في المنطقة بشكلٍ كبير بعد هذا التاريخ.
وفي حديث له مع “التلفزيون العربي” يوم الخميس الماضي، أوضح جنبلاط أن المنطقة شهدت تحولات كبيرة، شملت محاولات التهجير القسري للفلسطينيين والتطبيع مع الاحتلال الإسرائيلي، ما شكل تهديدًا خطيرًا للحقوق الفلسطينية.
وتحدث جنبلاط عن دخول حركة حماس في “الحلقة الجهنمية” نتيجة لرد الفعل الإسرائيلي، حيث استفادت إسرائيل من الوضع القائم لتدمير قطاع غزة وتهجير سكانه بشكل مطلق. وأضاف أن الضفة الغربية بدأت تشهد نفس السيناريو المأساوي.
وفيما يخص لبنان، رأى جنبلاط أن النفوذ الإسرائيلي يتوسع في لبنان وسوريا والعراق من دون احتلال مباشر، بل عن طريق استغلال الانقسامات الطائفية والمذهبية والعرقية في المنطقة. كما اعتبر أن فرضية “توازن الرعب” التي تبناها حزب الله في مواجهة الغرب وإسرائيل غير دقيقة، مشيرًا إلى الاختراقات الكبيرة التي طالت البنية العسكرية والأمنية لحزب الله في جنوب لبنان.
وفي ما يتعلق بمستقبل الحزب، أضاف جنبلاط: “حزب الله انتهى كحزب عسكري، ولكن جمهوره لا يزال موجودًا”. وأكد أن دعوات التطبيع في لبنان، تحت ضغوط الانهيار الاقتصادي والسياسي، هي انصياع كامل لرغبات الصهيونية، محذرًا من أن التطبيع مع إسرائيل سيؤدي إلى تدمير هوية لبنان وتعدديته.
وحول الأوضاع في سوريا، كشف جنبلاط عن انهيار جيش النظام السوري، مشيرًا إلى أن إسرائيل ستدمّر أي محاولة لإعادة إحيائه في ظل الفراغ العسكري الذي يعاني منه النظام. كما تحدث عن محاولات لتشكيل “جيش بديل” في سوريا بالتعاون مع الفصائل المحلية.
جنبلاط تحدث أيضًا عن محاولات إسرائيل طمس الذاكرة الدرزية، محذرًا من أن قيام دولة يهودية داخل كامل فلسطين يشكل خطرًا وجوديًا على الطائفة الدرزية. وأشار إلى أن هذا المشروع الإسرائيلي يسعى إلى تقسيم سوريا ولبنان إلى كيانات طائفية، الأمر الذي يشكل تهديدًا كبيرًا للهوية العربية والإسلامية.
وختم جنبلاط حديثه بتحذيره من حرب أميركية إسرائيلية طويلة ضد إيران والمنطقة، قائلاً: “أرى الحرب قادمة وستكون طويلة”.
“Jumblatt: Hezbollah is Finished as a Military Force, Sees a Long War Coming with Iran!”
Former leader of the Progressive Socialist Party, Walid Jumblatt, stated that the Middle East entered the “Israeli era” even before October 7, with the invasion and division of Iraq, and that Israel's expansion in the region began significantly after this date.
In an interview with “Al-Arabiya” television last Thursday, Jumblatt noted that the region has witnessed significant transformations, including attempts at forced displacement of Palestinians and normalization with the Israeli occupation, which posed a severe threat to Palestinian rights.
Jumblatt mentioned that Hamas did not anticipate the Israeli response, and it entered what he described as a “hellish circle,” from which Israel benefitted by continuing its destruction and expulsion of the population from Gaza. He also indicated that the West Bank has started to witness similar tragic developments.
Regarding Lebanon, Jumblatt pointed out that Israeli influence is expanding in Lebanon, Syria, and Iraq without direct occupation, but rather through exploiting sectarian, religious, tribal, and ethnic divisions in the region. He also commented that the “balance of terror” concept that Hezbollah adopted in confronting the West and Israel is not accurate, highlighting the significant Israeli infiltration of Hezbollah's military and security structures in southern Lebanon.
As for Hezbollah's future, Jumblatt stated: “Hezbollah has ended as a military party, but its supporters are still present.” He warned that calls for normalization in Lebanon, under the pressure of economic and political collapse, are a complete submission to Zionist desires, emphasizing that normalization with Israel would destroy Lebanon's identity and pluralism.
In relation to Syria, Jumblatt revealed that the Syrian regime's army has collapsed, and Israel will destroy any attempts to revive it due to the military vacuum in the country. He also discussed efforts to form an “alternative army” in Syria, with cooperation from local factions.
Jumblatt also addressed Israel’s attempts to erase the Druze memory, warning that the establishment of a Jewish state across all of Palestine poses an existential threat to the Druze community. He pointed out that this Israeli project seeks to divide Syria and Lebanon into sectarian entities, a major threat to Arab and Islamic identity.
Jumblatt concluded his remarks with a warning about the coming long U.S.-Israeli war on Iran and the region, stating: “I see war coming, and it will be long.”
