أعلن النائب العام التمييزي، القاضي جمال الحجار، عن تفعيل التحقيق في انفجار مرفأ بيروت بعد أن رفع الحظر عن قرارات القاضي طارق بيطار. وهو ما يجعل من الممكن تنفيذ القرارات الصادرة عن بيطار في ملف التحقيق في انفجار المرفأ الذي وقع في 4 آب 2020.
ووفقًا لمصادر مطلعة، فإن القاضي بيطار سيُجري الأسبوع المقبل تحقيقًا مع قادة أمنيين بارزين، من بينهم قائد الجيش السابق العماد جان قهوجي، المدير العام السابق للأمن العام اللواء عباس إبراهيم، والمدير العام لأمن الدولة اللواء طوني صليبا. كما يُتوقع أن يُختتم التحقيق في نهاية شهر نيسان/أبريل 2025.

بذلك، بدأ التحقيق في ملف انفجار المرفأ يأخذ مجراه القضائي بعد أن أصدر القاضي الحجار قرارًا بالتراجع عن قرارات سلفه القاضي غسان عويدات، التي كانت تمنع التعاون مع المحقق العدلي طارق بيطار. هذا القرار يُعتبر خطوة هامة نحو استكمال التحقيق في قضية تعتبر واحدة من أعظم الكوارث في تاريخ لبنان.

إيلي حصروتي، نجل غسان حصروتي الذي فقد حياته في الانفجار، يرى أن قرار المدّعي العام الحجار كان خطوة ضرورية لاستكمال التحقيق في هذه الجريمة الكبيرة. وقال حصروتي في حديثه لـ”النهار” إنهم اليوم يترقبون ما سيسفر عنه القرارين الظنّي والاتّهاميّ، مشيرًا إلى أن هذا القرار يُترجم الإرادة الحقيقية لاستكمال المسار القضائي وإزالة العقبات التي كانت تحول دون ذلك.
العدالة لا الانتقام:
بعد مرور خمس سنوات على الانفجار، يبدي أهالي الضحايا أملهم في تحقيق العدالة. ويؤكد حصروتي أن مطلبهم ليس الانتقام، بل العدالة والمحاسبة من أجل ضمان عدم تكرار ما حدث في 4 آب. ويضيف أن العدالة هي الحل لضمان حياة أفضل للبنانيين.
