“المعادلة تغيّرت” … جنبلاط: ميليشيات لبنان أصبحت جزءًا من الماضي
أكد رئيس حزب “التقدمي الاشتراكي” السابق، وليد جنبلاط، في تصريحاته اليوم الأحد، أن لبنان هو “شعب واحد”، مشددًا على رفضه القاطع لفكرة التقسيم التي تهدد استقرار البلاد ووحدتها. وفي حديثه مع إذاعة “سبوتنيك”، أشار جنبلاط إلى أن تشكيل حكومة نواف سلام جاء في سياق سياسي وعسكري جديد بعد التطورات الأخيرة التي شهدها لبنان، بما في ذلك العدوان الإسرائيلي الأخير على الأراضي اللبنانية. وأضاف أن الحكومة الجديدة تسعى إلى تنفيذ القرارات الدولية واتفاق الطائف من أجل ضمان استقرار لبنان على المدى البعيد.
التهديدات الإسرائيلية والأوضاع الأمنية
وفيما يخص التهديدات الإسرائيلية المتزايدة، أكد جنبلاط أن إسرائيل لن تلتزم بالقرارات الدولية. وذكر أن هناك محاولات إسرائيلية لاحتلال خمسة مواقع داخل لبنان، مشيرًا إلى ضرورة التصدي لهذه الخطط الاحتلالية. وأوضح جنبلاط أنه “لا عودة إلى الماضي”، مؤكدًا أن “الميليشيات العسكرية أصبحت جزءًا من التاريخ”، وأن لبنان يجب أن يواجه التحديات المستقبلية بشكل سياسي لا عسكري.
الإصلاحات الداخلية والملفات العالقة
على الصعيد الداخلي، شدد جنبلاط على أهمية تطبيق الإصلاحات المطلوبة من صندوق النقد الدولي، بما في ذلك تطبيق القرار 1701 على الحدود مع إسرائيل. كما أكد على ضرورة التحقيق في انفجار مرفأ بيروت، والعمل على تثبيت الحدود مع سوريا. وأوضح أن “الشغب” على الطريق المؤدية إلى مطار بيروت لا يتحمل مسؤوليتها وزير الأشغال، بل المجلس الوزاري الذي يتحمل اتخاذ القرارات المتعلقة بالوضع.
العلاقات مع سوريا وملف الحدود
وفيما يتعلق بالملف السوري، ذكر جنبلاط أن هناك العديد من النقاط العالقة بين لبنان وسوريا، مثل ترسيم الحدود البرية والبحرية. وأضاف أن من خلال العلاقات التاريخية بين البلدين، يمكن إيجاد حلول لهذه القضايا، مشيرًا إلى أنه كان أول شخص عربي يزور سوريا بعد سقوط نظام بشار الأسد. وأشاد جنبلاط بالجهود الدولية من قبل فرنسا والسعودية وقطر لدعم سوريا، رغم تقليص الولايات المتحدة لمشاركتها في هذا الدعم.

أما بالنسبة للقضية الفلسطينية، فقد عبّر جنبلاط عن قلقه من السياسات الإسرائيلية والأميركية تجاه القضية الفلسطينية. وقال إن “فلسطين ليست بحاجة إلى عرض ترامب لتحويل غزة إلى ما وصفه بريفييرا الشرق الأوسط”. وأكد أن “الدول العربية يجب أن تتحمل المسؤولية لدعم القضية الفلسطينية، خصوصًا في مواجهة محاولات التوطين التي تسعى إليها إسرائيل”.
الحرب في أوكرانيا والدور الروسي
فيما يتعلق بالحرب في أوكرانيا، شدّد جنبلاط على ضرورة “إنهاء الحرب في أقرب وقت ممكن”، مؤكّدًا أن “الحلول السياسية هي الأفضل لتفادي المزيد من الدمار”. وأشار إلى أن “روسيا ارتكبت خطأ بحق الشعب السوري عندما ساندت النظام السوري”، موضحًا أنه نبه موسكو في عامي 2011 و2012 من أن دعم النظام السوري على حساب الشعب كان خطأ.

“The Equation Has Changed” … Jumblatt: Militias in Lebanon Are Part of the Past
Former leader of the Progressive Socialist Party, Walid Jumblatt, stated on Sunday that Lebanon is “one people”, firmly rejecting the idea of division that threatens the country’s stability and unity. In an interview with Sputnik Radio, Jumblatt pointed out that the formation of the new government under Najib Mikati came in a new political and military context due to recent developments, including the Israeli aggression. He noted that the new government aims to implement international resolutions and the Taif Agreement to ensure Lebanon's long-term stability.
Israeli Threats and Security Concerns
Regarding the increasing Israeli threats, Jumblatt emphasized that Israel will not abide by international resolutions. He highlighted Israel's attempts to occupy five sites within Lebanon, stressing the need to confront these plans. Jumblatt also assured that “there is no return to the past” and firmly stated that “militias have become a part of history,” stressing that Lebanon must face future challenges through political means rather than military ones.
Internal Reforms and Pending Issues
On the domestic front, Jumblatt emphasized the importance of implementing the reforms required by the International Monetary Fund, including applying Security Council Resolution 1701 on Lebanon’s borders with Israel. He also stressed the need for an investigation into the Beirut port explosion and the demarcation of borders with Syria. Jumblatt clarified that the “disturbance” on the road leading to Beirut Airport is the responsibility of the cabinet, not the Minister of Public Works.
Lebanon-Syria Relations and Border Issues
Regarding the Syrian issue, Jumblatt noted that there are several pending issues between Lebanon and Syria, such as the demarcation of both land and maritime borders. He mentioned that, through the historical relationship between the two countries, solutions can be found for these matters. Jumblatt also mentioned that he was the first Arab official to visit Syria after the fall of Bashar al-Assad’s regime and praised the international efforts by France, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar to support Syria, despite the U.S. reducing its involvement in this support.
The Palestinian Cause and Israeli Policies
On the Palestinian cause, Jumblatt expressed concern about the Israeli and U.S. policies regarding Palestine. He said that “Palestine does not need Trump’s offer to turn Gaza into what he described as the Riviera of the Middle East.” He emphasized that “Arab countries must take responsibility for supporting the Palestinian cause, especially in the face of Israel’s attempts at naturalization.”
The War in Ukraine and Russian Involvement
Regarding the war in Ukraine, Jumblatt emphasized the need to “end the war as soon as possible,” highlighting that “political solutions are the best way to avoid further destruction.” He noted that “Russia made a mistake by supporting the Syrian regime” and pointed out that he had warned Moscow in 2011 and 2012 that supporting the Syrian regime at the expense of the Syrian people was a mistake.
