وجدي العريضي: لبنان يدخل حقبة جديدة تحت الرعاية السعودية… عصر البحبوحة والازدهار قد بدأ!
أكد الكاتب والمحلل السياسي وجدي العريضي أن لبنان دخل مرحلة جديدة من الرعاية السعودية التي ستساهم في تحقيق الاستقرار والازدهار للبلاد. وفي حديثه إلى “ليبانون ديبايت”، أشار العريضي إلى أن الزمن الذي كانت تُبتز فيه الحكومات ورؤساء الوزراء خلال عملية التأليف قد انتهى، قائلًا: “كفى للأحزاب والتيارات السياسية ما ارتكبته من فساد وسرقات، وما قامت به الترويكا من تجاوزات لضرب اتفاق الطائف”.
لبنان بين التوازنات والتفاهمات
يرى العريضي أن لبنان على أعتاب عصر جديد يتطلب من جميع القوى السياسية الحفاظ على لعبة التوازنات الداخلية. وذكّر بعبارة الرئيس الراحل صائب سلام: “لبنان لا يقوم إلا بجناحيه”. وأشاد العريضي بالرئيس نواف سلام، واصفًا إياه برجل القانون والدولة الذي لن يخضع لأي ضغوط أو ابتزاز. كما أشار إلى الثقة التي يحظى بها الرئيس جوزاف عون في بعبدا.
وأوضح أن المرحلة الحالية تشبه “نكهة شهابية جديدة” تقوم على إعادة بناء الدولة ومؤسساتها التي دمرتها الحكومات السابقة ومنظومات الفساد. وشدد على ضرورة وقف أي محاولة لابتزاز رؤساء الحكومات كما كان يحدث في الماضي.
الرعاية السعودية للبنان
صرّح العريضي أن لبنان دخل رسميًا في حقبة الرعاية السعودية، مشيرًا إلى زيارة وزير خارجية المملكة العربية السعودية، الأمير فيصل بن فرحان، المرتقبة، والتي ستتزامن مع تمديد ولاية السفير السعودي وليد بخاري الذي وصفه بالدبلوماسي البارع الذي لعب دورًا كبيرًا في تعزيز العلاقات السعودية اللبنانية.
وأشار العريضي إلى أن المملكة ستشرف على مرحلة إعادة الإعمار وستعمل على توقيع اتفاقيات مع الحكومة اللبنانية لدعم البلاد اقتصاديًا وتنمويًا. وأضاف: “زمن البحبوحة والازدهار قادم بفضل دعم المملكة ودول مجلس التعاون الخليجي”.
إعادة الإعمار والشفافية
أكد العريضي أن المرحلة المقبلة ستشهد إطلاق مشاريع إعادة الإعمار بشفافية، مشيرًا إلى الدور الإيجابي الذي يلعبه مجلس الجنوب حاليًا من خلال الكشف عن الأضرار ودعم النازحين. وشدد على أن المناقصات ستُجرى بشفافية بعيدًا عن التلزيمات بالتراضي التي كانت سائدة سابقًا.
الأجواء الدولية والتحديات الإقليمية
كما كشف العريضي عن معلومات تفيد بزيارة مرتقبة للرئيس الأميركي السابق دونالد ترامب إلى بيروت لتدشين السفارة الأميركية الجديدة، والتي ستكون الأكبر في المنطقة. وأكد أن لبنان دخل أيضًا في عصر ولي العهد السعودي الأمير محمد بن سلمان، مشيرًا إلى الدعم الكبير الذي سيقدمه للبنان.
وأشار العريضي إلى وجود ضغوطات دولية تُمارس على إسرائيل لوقف انتهاكاتها وخروقاتها في لبنان برًا وبحرًا وجوًا، معربًا عن تفاؤله بمستقبل البلاد في ظل العهد الجديد والحكومة الفاعلة.

Political analyst and writer Wajdi Al-Aridi has declared that Lebanon is entering a new phase of Saudi support, which is set to usher in stability and prosperity for the nation. In an interview with “Lebanon Debate,” Al-Aridi emphasized that the era of political parties exploiting and blackmailing prime ministers during government formation has come to an end. He stated, “Enough with corruption, theft, and sectarian conflicts that destroyed the country both before and after the Taif Agreement.”
Balance and Understanding in Lebanese Politics
Al-Aridi stressed the importance of maintaining internal political balances, noting that Lebanon's stability relies on cooperation between all factions. Referring to former Prime Minister Saeb Salam, he reiterated: “Lebanon only thrives with both of its wings.”
He praised President Nawaf Salam as a man of law and governance who will not yield to challenges or pressure. Al-Aridi also expressed trust in President Joseph Aoun in Baabda, describing the two leaders as competent statesmen capable of steering Lebanon through its challenges.
Saudi Arabia’s Role in Lebanon’s New Chapter
Al-Aridi confirmed that Lebanon is now under Saudi patronage, with significant support expected in the near future. He highlighted the anticipated visit of Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan and the extension of Ambassador Walid Bukhari’s term, describing Bukhari as a skilled diplomat who maintained strong bilateral relations during difficult times.
According to Al-Aridi, Saudi Arabia will oversee Lebanon’s reconstruction phase and work closely with the Lebanese government to establish agreements aimed at economic recovery and development. “The era of prosperity and growth is upon us thanks to the Kingdom and the Gulf Cooperation Council,” he stated.
Reconstruction and Transparency
Al-Aridi emphasized that the upcoming reconstruction projects will be conducted transparently. He commended the role of the South Council in damage assessments and supporting displaced individuals, ensuring that tenders are awarded through fair processes rather than favoritism.
International Support and Regional Challenges
Al-Aridi revealed that former U.S. President Donald Trump is expected to visit Beirut soon to inaugurate the new U.S. embassy, the largest in the region. He also highlighted the leadership of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, noting that Lebanon stands to benefit greatly from Saudi Arabia’s regional influence and support.
He concluded by mentioning international pressures on Israel to cease its violations in Lebanon by land, sea, and air, expressing optimism for the country’s future under the new leadership and a proactive government.
