“الخطة جاهزة”… إسرائيل تستعد لشن هجوم بري على لبنان

أفادت مجلة “الإيكونوميست” البريطانية اليوم الإثنين بأن إسرائيل وضعت خطة لشن هجوم بري في لبنان، يهدف إلى إقامة منطقة عازلة بهدف إبعاد مقاتلي حزب الله عن الحدود.

ونقلت المجلة عن مصادر عسكرية لم تذكرها، أن “الخطة الإسرائيلية تشمل احتلال منطقة تمتد بضعة أميال داخل الأراضي اللبنانية شمال الحدود، وتحويلها إلى منطقة عازلة.”

وأكدت المصادر أن “الخطط للاجتياح البري جاهزة، لكن إسرائيل تفتقر حاليًا إلى القوات الكافية لتنفيذ هذا الهجوم.”

وأشارت المصادر إلى أن هناك مطالبات داخل الدوائر الإسرائيلية بتوجيه ضربات أكثر حدة لحزب الله، خاصة في ظل “الارتباك الذي يعيشه” بعد موجة من الاغتيالات وتفجيرات أجهزة الاتصال. ومع ذلك، يدعو البعض، وعلى رأسهم وزير الدفاع يوآف غالانت، إلى التريث، متوقعين أن يتراجع الحزب عن مهاجمة الأراضي الإسرائيلية.

The British magazine The Economist reported on Monday that Israel is planning a ground offensive in Lebanon, aimed at establishing a buffer zone to push Hezbollah fighters away from the border.

The magazine, citing unnamed military sources, stated that “the Israeli plan involves occupying a few miles of land north of the border and turning it into a buffer zone.”

The sources confirmed that “the plans for a ground invasion are ready, but Israel currently lacks the necessary forces to launch this attack.”

The sources also pointed to demands within Israeli decision-making circles to strike Hezbollah harder, especially given the “confusion” within the group following a series of assassinations and the destruction of communication equipment. However, others, led by Defense Minister Yoav Gallant, are calling for patience, expecting Hezbollah to retreat from attacking Israeli territory.
