مقدمة

جمعية برامج النساء (WPA) هي منظمة غير ربحية غير حكومية، مسجلة قانونيًا لدى وزارة الداخلية والبلديات منذ عام 2008. تهدف المنظمة إلى تقديم الدعم للنساء والشباب الفلسطينيين اللاجئين والمجموعات الضعيفة الأخرى في لبنان لتطوير قدراتهم، وتحقيق حقوقهم، وتلبية احتياجاتهم. يتم تحقيق ذلك من خلال برامج الحماية والتعليم وسبل العيش والمساعدات الإنسانية المطبقة في ثمانية مخيمات فلسطينية محيطها في لبنان. تسترشد أعمال WPA بالشفافية والنزاهة وعدم التمييز واحترام الكائنات البشرية.

هدف الوظيفة

دعم تعلم الطلاب باستخدام المعرفة والمهارات المتخصصة في بيئة تعليمية مبدعة ومشجعة.

المسؤوليات

تحت الإشراف الفني المباشر من منسق المشروع، سيكون المسؤول عن:

• تقييم مستوى كفاءة الطلاب المختارين في الصف الثامن في مادة الرياضيات، وفقًا لذلك تطوير خطة فردية للدعم.
• تدريس الطلاب وفقًا لاحتياجاتهم التعليمية، وقدراتهم، وإمكاناتهم الفردية.
• العمل مع الطلاب المختارين على أساس فردي وجماعي صغير، في تدخلات الدعم التعليمي المصممة خصيصًا لدعم احتياجاتهم، والمهارات الأساسية في الرياضيات.
• التنسيق مع الأخصائي الاجتماعي المعين بشأن نتائج التقييم النفسي والاجتماعي لكل طالب والخطة التدخلية الناتجة.
• تقديم ملاحظات وتقارير دقيقة وموضوعية حسب الحاجة حول إنجازات الطلاب وتقدمهم وقضايا أخرى.
• مسؤولية تقديم جداول العمل اليومية للمدير المباشر.
• الحفاظ على تواصل إيجابي مستمر مع أولياء الأمور.
• التنسيق والمتابعة، بالتعاون مع منسق المشروع، بشأن مسائل تتعلق بتقدم التنفيذ، والاستفسارات المحددة، والتوضيحات، وغيرها.
• أداء أي مهام أخرى قد تكون مطلوبة.

المؤهلات

• درجة بكالوريوس في تخصص التعليم (رياضيات).
• خبرة لا تقل عن سنتين في دعم التعلم النشط والشامل للطلاب المتوسطين.
• إتقان اللغة الإنجليزية والعربية كتابة وتحدثًا.
• خبرة في استخدام برامج Microsoft Office (Word، PowerPoint، Excel).

المهارات

• مهارات التواصل والقدرة على التعامل مع الآخرين.
• فهم جيد للموضوع الذي يتم تدريسه.
• القدرة على إنشاء والحفاظ على بيئة تعليمية إيجابية ومنظمة.
• القدرة على العمل تحت الضغط.

Introduction

The Women’s Programs Association (WPA) is a non-profit, non-governmental organization (NGO), legally registered with the Ministry of Interior and Municipalities since 2008. Its mission is to provide support to Palestinian refugee women and youth and other vulnerable groups in Lebanon to develop their capacities, realize their rights, and fulfill their needs. This is achieved through Protection, Education, Livelihood, and Humanitarian Assistance programs implemented in eight Palestinian refugee camps and surroundings throughout Lebanon. WPA's work is guided by Transparency, Integrity, Non-Discrimination, and Respect for Human Beings.

Job Purpose

To support students’ learning using specialized knowledge and skills in a creative and conducive environment.

Responsibilities

Under the direct technical supervision of the Project Coordinator, the incumbent will be responsible for:

• Assessing the competency level of selected grade 8 students in Mathematics and developing an individual support plan accordingly.
• Teaching students according to their educational needs, abilities, and potential.
• Working with selected students, both individually and in small groups, in learning support interventions specifically designed to address their needs and basic skills in Mathematics.
• Coordinating with the designated social worker on the results of psycho-social assessments conducted for each student and the ensuing intervention plan.
• Providing objective and accurate feedback and reports on students’ achievements, progress, and other matters as required.
• Submitting daily timesheets to the line manager.
• Maintaining ongoing positive communication with parents.
• Liaising and following up with the Project Coordinator on implementation progress, specific queries, clarifications, etc.
• Performing any other duties as may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education (Mathematics).
• Minimum of two years of experience working in Active and Inclusive Learning support for intermediate students.
• Excellent written and spoken English and Arabic.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).

Skills

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Solid understanding of the subject being taught.
• Ability to establish and maintain a positive and structured learning environment.
• Ability to work under pressure.
