قوى الأمن توقف عصابة تبيع ليرات ذهبية “مزيّفة”!

صــدر عــــن المديريّـة العـامّـة لقــوى الأمــن الـدّاخلي ـ شعبة العـلاقـات العـامّـة بلاغ جاء فيه: “حصلت في الآونة الأخيرة عمليات بيع ليرات ذهب مزيّفة، نفّذها أشخاص مجهولون من التّابعية السّورية بطريقة احتيالية، في العديد من مناطق محافظة جبل لبنان، وكان آخرها بتاريخ 12-7-2024 في بلدة المنصورية خلال قيام أحد المواطنين بشراء عدد من ليرات الذهب من شخص سوري مقابل مبلغ ثلاثة آلاف دولار أميركي، حيث أقدم الأخير على الفرار بعد سرقة المبلغ المالي ليتبيّن للشّاري أنّ اللّيرات الذهبية مزيفة”.

وأشار الى، ان “على أثر ذلك، كثّفت القطعات المختصّة في شعبة المعلومات جهودها الميدانيّة والاستعلاميّة لكشف المشتبه فيهم وتوقيفهم. وبنتيجة الاستقصاءات والتحريّات، تم تحديد هويّة أفراد العصابة، ومن بينهم كل من: إ. ك. (من مواليد عام 1998، سوري)، خ. ك. (من مواليد عام 1994، سوري)”.

ولفت البلاغ الى، ان “بتاريخي 12 و16-7-2024 وبعد رصد ومراقبة دقيقة، تمكّنت إحدى دوريّات الشّعبة من توقيف الأول في المنصورية، وتم ضبط ليرات ذهبية مزيّفة، وجرى توقيف الثاني في محلّة صبرا – بيروت”.

وأضاف، ان “بالتّحقيق معهما، اعترفا بما نُسِبَ إليهما لجهة قيامهما بتنفيذ العديد من عمليات بيع ليرات ذهبية مزيّفة بطريقة احتيالية، وأن أحد أفراد عصابتهم متواجد في تركيا ويقوم بالتّواصل مع الضّحايا عبر تطبيق الـ “واتساب” ويقنعهم بشراء ليرات ذهبية بأسعار مغرية، كما يقوم أحد شركائهم بتأمين الليرات المزيّفة من سوريا فيقومان ببيعها للضّحايا وسرقة أموالهم والفرار، وبعدها يتم تقسيم المبالغ المسروقة بين أفراد العصابة”.

وتابع البلاغ، “أجري المقتضى القانوني بحقّهما، وأودعا مع المضبوطات المرجع بناء على إشارة القضاء المختصّ، والعمل مستمرّ لتوقيف باقي المتورّطين”.

وختم، “تحذّر قوى الأمن الدّاخلي المواطنين الكرام، من مغبّة الوقوع ضحيّة هكذا أعمال، وتطلب منهم عدم شراء مجوهرات أو مصاغ إلّا من محلّات أو أشخاص موثوقين”.

The Internal Security Forces Arrest a Gang Selling Counterfeit Gold Coins!

The General Directorate of Internal Security Forces – Public Relations Division issued a statement: “Recently, there have been incidents involving the fraudulent sale of counterfeit gold coins by unidentified individuals of Syrian nationality in various areas of Mount Lebanon Governorate. The most recent case occurred on 12-7-2024 in the town of Mansourieh, where a citizen purchased several gold coins from a Syrian individual for $3,000 USD. The seller fled after stealing the money, and the buyer later discovered that the coins were counterfeit.”

The statement added, “Following this, specialized units of the Information Branch intensified their field and intelligence efforts to identify and apprehend the suspects. Through investigations and inquiries, the identities of the gang members were established, including: I. K. (born in 1998, Syrian) and K. K. (born in 1994, Syrian).”

The statement continued, “On 12 and 16-7-2024, after careful monitoring and surveillance, one of the branch's patrols arrested the first suspect in Mansourieh, where counterfeit gold coins were seized. The second suspect was apprehended in Sabra – Beirut.”

“During interrogation, they confessed to the charges against them, admitting to executing several fraudulent sales of counterfeit gold coins. They revealed that one of their gang members is currently in Turkey and communicates with victims via WhatsApp, persuading them to purchase gold coins at attractive prices. Another accomplice supplies the counterfeit coins from Syria, which they sell to victims before stealing their money and fleeing. The stolen amounts are then divided among the gang members.”

The statement concluded, “Legal procedures were carried out against the arrested individuals, and they, along with the seized items, were referred to the competent judiciary. Efforts are ongoing to apprehend the remaining suspects.”

The Internal Security Forces warned citizens to avoid falling victim to such scams and advised them to only purchase jewelry or valuables from trusted shops or individuals.
