Position Details:
Job Title: WordPress Developer
Key Responsibilities:
As a WordPress Developer, you will play a pivotal role in defining the digital presence of our clients' businesses, crafting attractive and user-friendly websites that align seamlessly with the client's design and functionality requirements. Your primary responsibilities encompass a broad spectrum of tasks, from the conceptual stage to the final implementation. To excel in this role, you should possess a profound understanding of front-end programming languages, an impeccable sense of aesthetics, and robust content management skills, ensuring that each website you develop not only meets but exceeds the expectations of our discerning clientele. Your daily tasks will be:
- Client Consultation: Engage with clients to understand their vision and requirements for the website, ensuring a clear understanding of design and functionality expectations.
- Front-end Development: Craft the visual elements of the website, ensuring a seamless and aesthetically pleasing user interface.
- Website Architecture Design: Construct the framework of the website, ensuring a robust and scalable structure.
- Back-end Management: Oversee the website's back-end operations, including database and server integration, to ensure smooth functionality.
- Theme and Plugin Development: Generate custom WordPress themes and plugins to extend the functionality and design of the websites.
- Performance Testing: Conduct thorough testing of the websites, ensuring optimal performance and addressing any issues promptly.
- Content Troubleshooting: Resolve any content-related issues efficiently, maintaining the integrity and quality of the website.
- Client Training: Provide comprehensive WordPress training to clients, empowering them to manage their website confidently.
- Website Monitoring: Regularly monitor the live websites to ensure consistent performance and make necessary adjustments.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Proven experience as a WordPress Developer.
- Proficiency in front-end technologies including CSS3, JavaScript, HTML5, and jQuery.
- Familiarity with code versioning tools such as Git, Mercurial, and SVN.
- Experience in using debugging tools like Chrome Inspector and Firebug.
- A solid understanding of website architecture and aesthetics.
- Excellent project management skills.
- Strong communication skills, capable of effectively collaborating with clients and team members.
Work Conditions:
- Part-time position with the option to choose between the following shifts:
- Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 1:30 PM
- Monday to Friday, 12:30 PM to 7:00 PM
- Office location: Sin El Fil
Compensation and Benefits:
- Monthly salary starting $400, inclusive of transportation.
