إنجاز أمني مشترك: تعاون استخباري عراقي لبناني يطيح بأكبر مصنع كبتاغون في الشرق الأوسط
في ضربة أمنية غير مسبوقة لشبكات المخدرات، أعلنت وزارة الداخلية العراقية عن نجاح تعاون استخباري وأمني وثيق مع الأجهزة اللبنانية، أسفر عن الإطاحة بأكبر مصنع لإنتاج مادة الكبتاغون في منطقة البقاع – لبنان.
وجاء في بيان رسمي صادر عن الوزارة، تلقته وكالة الأنباء العراقية (واع)، أن هذا الإنجاز تحقق بفضل تبادل معلومات دقيقة بين المديرية العامة لشؤون المخدرات في العراق والمديرية العامة لأمن الدولة في لبنان، حيث نفّذ الجيش اللبناني في منتصف تموز 2025 عملية أمنية نوعية انتهت بضبط المصنع وإحباط كميات ضخمة من المواد المخدّرة الجاهزة للتصنيع والترويج.
وأشارت الوزارة إلى أن هذه الضربة تُعتبر الأقوى ضد شبكات الكبتاغون في الشرق الأوسط، مؤكدة أن التعاون يعكس عمق العلاقات الثنائية بين البلدين، ودور العراق الريادي في مواجهة التهديدات العابرة للحدود، وعلى رأسها آفة المخدرات التي تشكل خطرًا كبيرًا على الأمن والاستقرار العربي.
Major Security Achievement: Iraq-Lebanon Intelligence Cooperation Dismantles the Largest Captagon Factory in the Middle East
In a major breakthrough against regional drug networks, the Iraqi Ministry of Interior announced the successful dismantling of the largest Captagon factory in the Middle East, following close intelligence cooperation with Lebanese security services.
According to the official statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), the operation was the result of precise intelligence shared between Iraq’s General Directorate of Narcotics Affairs and Lebanon’s General Directorate of State Security. Acting on this information, the Lebanese Army launched a wide-scale raid in mid-July 2025, seizing the factory and preventing massive quantities of Captagon pills from reaching illicit markets.
The ministry emphasized that this unprecedented achievement represents the strongest blow yet to drug production networks in the region. It also highlighted that such cooperation reflects the strategic partnership between Iraq and Lebanon, as well as Iraq’s pivotal role in addressing cross-border threats, particularly the growing menace of drug trafficking and Captagon smuggling that threaten Arab social security.
