سلام يرد على تهديدات قاسم: “لن نتراجع عن حصر السلاح بيد الدولة”
أكد رئيس الحكومة اللبنانية نواف سلام، اليوم الجمعة، في حديثٍ لصحيفة “الشرق الأوسط”، أن تصريحات الأمين العام لحزب الله الشيخ نعيم قاسم تحمل تهديدًا مبطّنًا بـ حرب أهلية، مشددًا على أن “لا أحد في لبنان يريد الحرب الأهلية اليوم، وأن التلويح بها هو أمر خاطئ”.
سلام: “لن نتراجع عن حصر السلاح”
وأوضح سلام أن اتفاق الطائف الذي أُقرَّ بعد الحرب الأهلية في لبنان نصّ بشكلٍ صريح على بسط سلطة الدولة على كامل أراضيها. وأكد على أن الحكومة لن تتراجع عن قرار حصر السلاح بيد الدولة، لتكون الجيش اللبناني وقوى الأمن هما الجهتان الوحيدتان المخوّلتان بحمل السلاح. وأضاف: “لا يحق لأي حزب في لبنان حمل السلاح خارج إطار الدولة”.

وأشار سلام إلى أن الحكومة تعمل على خطة تنفيذية لحصر السلاح في يد الدولة، مؤكدًا أن هذا القرار لا يخضع لأي إملاءات خارجية، قائلاً: “لا توجد دولة فيها جيشان أو ثلاثة… جيش الدولة هو جيشها الوطني فقط”.

وفي ردٍ على الاتهامات التي توجهها بعض الأطراف بأن الحكومة تنفذ مشروعًا أميركيًا إسرائيليًا، اعتبر سلام أن هذا الحديث تعبوي يستهدف فئة معينة، موضحًا أن الحكومة لم تطلب من حزب الله تسليم سلاحه إلى إسرائيل، بل إلى الدولة اللبنانية.
Salam Responds to Qassem's Threat: “We Will Not Back Down on State Control Over Arms”
In an interview with Asharq Al-Awsat, Lebanese Prime Minister Naufal Salam addressed the recent statements made by Hezbollah’s Secretary-General Sheikh Naim Qassem, calling them a veiled threat of civil war. Salam emphasized that “no one in Lebanon today desires civil war, and alluding to it is a mistake.”
Salam: “We Will Not Back Down on Arms Control”
Salam clarified that the Taif Agreement, which ended Lebanon’s civil war, explicitly states that the Lebanese state must have full control over all of its territories. He firmly stated that the government would not back down from its decision to restrict arms to the state, with only the Lebanese Army and security forces being authorized to bear arms. He added: “No country has two or three armies… the state army is the only national army.”
Implementing the Plan to Restrict Arms
The prime minister revealed that the government is working on an executive plan to ensure arms are exclusively in the hands of the state. He emphasized that this decision is not influenced by external pressures, stating: “There cannot be multiple armies in one country. The state army is the only legitimate one.”

In response to accusations that the government is implementing a U.S.-Israeli agenda, Salam dismissed such claims as propaganda targeting certain groups. He clarified that the government has never asked Hezbollah to surrender its weapons to Israel, but rather to the Lebanese state.
