وبموجب المذكرة الصادرة عن رئاسة الحكومة، يُطلب من جميع الإدارات العامة، البلديات، والمؤسسات الرسمية تنكيس الأعلام على المباني الرسمية، وتعديل البرامج العادية على محطات الإذاعة والتلفزيون بما يتلاءم مع رمزية المناسبة وجراح اللبنانيين، مع تخصيص مساحات إعلامية لتكريم الشهداء والضحايا والمصابين الذين سقطوا جراء الكارثة.

To mark the fourth anniversary of the Beirut Port Explosion, Lebanese Prime Minister Nawaf Salam has officially declared Sunday, August 4, 2025, as a National Day of Mourning, honoring the victims of the catastrophic event that struck the Lebanese capital on August 4, 2020.
📜 Legal Basis and Decree
The declaration is based on Decree No. 15215 (dated September 27, 2023), amended by Decree No. 807 (dated July 23, 2023), which allows the government to designate national mourning days in observance of major humanitarian tragedies.
