سلام: “لا إفلات من العقاب بعد اليوم” … سنواصل النضال من أجل قضاء مستقل
في ذكرى اغتيال القضاة الشهداء حسن عثمان، وليد هرموش، عاصم أبو ضاهر، وإبراهيم عيد، جدد رئيس الحكومة نواف سلام العهد بعدم السماح بالإفلات من العقاب بعد اليوم. وفي منشور له عبر منصة “إكس”، قال سلام: “في ذكرى اغتيال القضاة الشهداء، نُجدد العهد بأن لا إفلات من العقاب بعد اليوم، وأن رسالتهم ستبقى منارة لنا”.
وأضاف سلام: “سنواصل النضال من أجل قضاء نزيه ومستقل، لا يخضع إلا لضميره وللقانون ويعمل دوماً على تكريس العدالة وإحقاق الحق”. وقد أكد سلام أن هذا هو الدرب الذي سيستمر في العمل عليه، مهما كانت التحديات.
وفي ذات السياق، أشار رئيس الجمهورية العماد جوزاف عون إلى أن الجريمة النكراء التي استهدفت القضاة الأربعة الشهداء في محكمة صيدا قبل 26 عامًا، تبقى جرحًا غائرًا في ضمير الوطن وفي قلب العدالة اللبنانية. واعتبر عون أن الشهداء، الذين استشهدوا في مثل هذا اليوم من العام 1999 على قوس محكمة الجنايات في قصر العدل بصيدا، قدموا أرواحهم فداء لاستقلالية القضاء وكرامة العدالة في لبنان.
وأضاف الرئيس عون: “أدين بشدة هذه الجريمة التي استهدفت أركان العدالة في بلدنا، وأؤكد أن لا شيء يمكن أن يرهب القضاء اللبناني أو يثنيه عن أداء رسالته النبيلة. فالعدالة أقوى من الرصاص، والحق أبقى من الظلم”.
وشدد على أن دماء الشهداء الطاهرة لن تذهب سدى، وأن الدولة ستستمر في السعي لكشف الحقيقة ومحاسبة المجرمين مهما طال الزمن.
وختم قائلاً: “القضاء اللبناني سيبقى شامخًا، وسيادة القانون ستنتصر في النهاية. رحم الله شهداءنا الأبرار، وأنار دربنا نحو عدالة حقيقية وشاملة”.

Salam: “No Escape from Punishment Anymore” … We Will Continue the Struggle for an Independent Judiciary
On the anniversary of the assassination of the martyr judges Hassan Othman, Walid Harmoush, Assem Abu Dhaher, and Ibrahim Eid, Prime Minister Nawaf Salam renewed his vow that there will be no escape from punishment going forward. In a post on his “X” account, Salam stated: “On the anniversary of the martyr judges' assassination, we renew the vow that there will be no escape from punishment, and their message will remain a beacon for us.”
Salam added, “We will continue the struggle for an honest and independent judiciary that is only subject to its conscience and the law, and always works towards establishing justice and upholding the truth.” Salam emphasized that this is the path that will continue to be followed, no matter the challenges.
In this context, President Michel Aoun highlighted that the heinous crime targeting the four martyr judges in Sidon’s court 26 years ago remains a deep wound in the conscience of the nation and in the heart of Lebanese justice. Aoun noted that the judges, who were martyred on this day in 1999 at the criminal court’s arch in Sidon, gave their lives for the independence of the judiciary and the dignity of justice in Lebanon.
President Aoun added: “I strongly condemn this crime that targeted the pillars of justice in our country, and I confirm that nothing can intimidate the Lebanese judiciary or prevent it from fulfilling its noble mission. Justice is stronger than bullets, and truth is more enduring than injustice.”
He stressed that the pure blood of the martyrs will not go in vain and that the state will continue to strive to uncover the truth and hold the criminals accountable, no matter how long it takes.
He concluded: “The Lebanese judiciary will remain strong, and the rule of law will ultimately prevail. May God have mercy on our noble martyrs, and guide our path toward true and comprehensive justice.”
