لودريان يعود إلى بيروت: مهمة استطلاعية حول ما أُنجز في لبنان
بعد غياب دام لفترة طويلة منذ انتخاب رئيس الجمهورية اللبناني، يعتزم المندوب الفرنسي إلى لبنان، جان إيف لودريان، القيام بزيارة إلى بيروت، وفقًا لما تم تداوله في وسائل الإعلام. الزيارة التي ستبدأ في العاشر من يونيو الحالي، ستستمر لأكثر من يوم، حيث سيعقد لودريان عدة لقاءات مع المسؤولين اللبنانيين.
وأكدت الأوساط المتابعة أن لودريان سيبدأ لقاءاته في اليوم الأول من الزيارة مع عدد من كبار المسؤولين، أبرزهم رئيس مجلس النواب نبيه بري ورئيس الحكومة نجيب ميقاتي. خلال هذه اللقاءات، سيتم مناقشة عدة قضايا تتعلق بالقوانين الإصلاحية، وتطبيق القرار 1701، فضلاً عن اتفاق وقف إطلاق النار في جنوب لبنان. وتعتبر فرنسا إلى جانب الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية، من الدول المشرفة على تنفيذ وقف إطلاق النار في المنطقة الجنوبية.
أما لقاء لودريان مع رئيس الجمهورية اللبناني، فمن المتوقع أن يتم في اليوم الثاني من الزيارة، حيث سيكون الرئيس خارج البلاد في اليوم الأول.
يذكر أن لودريان كان قد كُلّف من قبل الرئيس الفرنسي إيمانويل ماكرون كمبعوث خاص إلى لبنان في إطار المبادرة الفرنسية لحل الأزمة السياسية اللبنانية وتسريع انتخاب رئيس للجمهورية. وقد لعب دور الوسيط بين الأطراف اللبنانية خلال زياراته السابقة في عامي 2022 و2023، حيث التقى مع مسؤولين سياسيين وقيادات روحية في محاولة لدفع الحوار الداخلي، لكنها لم تسفر عن نتائج حاسمة.
Jean-Yves Le Drian Returns to Beirut: An Exploratory Mission on What Has Been Achieved in Lebanon
After a few months of absence following the election of Lebanon’s President, French envoy to Lebanon, Jean-Yves Le Drian, is set to visit Beirut, as reported by the media. The visit, which will begin on June 10th, is scheduled to last for more than a day, during which Le Drian will meet with several Lebanese officials.
According to informed sources, Le Drian will kick off his meetings on the first day of his visit with prominent officials, including Speaker of the Parliament Nabih Berri and Prime Minister Najib Mikati. During these meetings, they will discuss several issues related to reform laws, the implementation of Resolution 1701, and the ceasefire agreement, as France, alongside the United States, is one of the countries monitoring the implementation of the ceasefire in southern Lebanon.
As for the meeting with the Lebanese President, it is expected to take place on the second day of the visit, as the president will be abroad when Le Drian arrives in Lebanon.
It is worth mentioning that Le Drian was appointed by French President Emmanuel Macron as a special envoy to Lebanon as part of the French initiative aimed at resolving the Lebanese political crisis and expediting the election of a new president. He has served as a mediator between Lebanese factions during his visits in 2022 and 2023, meeting with political figures and religious leaders in an attempt to push forward internal dialogue, though these efforts did not yield decisive results.
