“اللقاء الديمقراطي” يؤكد ضرورة حصر السلاح بيد الدولة ويطالب بإصلاحات اقتصادية شاملة
عقدت كتلة “اللقاء الديمقراطي” اجتماعها الدوري في كليمنصو برئاسة رئيس الحزب التقدمي الاشتراكي النائب تيمور جنبلاط، بحضور عدد من النواب البارزين في الحزب، حيث تناول المجتمعون المستجدات السياسية، الاقتصادية، الاجتماعية والتربوية التي تشهدها البلاد في ظل التحديات المتعددة.
وأكدت الكتلة أن التحدي الأساسي يكمن في استعادة دور المؤسسات الدستورية وتعزيز التوازن الطبيعي في عملها، مشددة على ضرورة إدارة رشيدة ومسؤولة، خاصة في ملفات الإصلاح البنيوي. كما شددت على ضرورة تشكيل الهيئة الوطنية لإلغاء الطائفية السياسية كمدخل أساسي للإصلاح السياسي، وذلك بهدف إنشاء مجلس الشيوخ وإقرار قانون انتخابي جديد غير طائفي.
وفي ما يتعلق بملف السلاح، أكدت الكتلة على اعتماد مقاربة هادئة وواقعية لحصر السلاح بيد الدولة، مع التأكيد على أن هذا المبدأ لا يمكن المساومة عليه. وأشارت إلى أهمية استثمار الحضور اللبناني المتجدد على الساحتين العربية والدولية لتحقيق المصلحة الوطنية، وذلك بما يحفظ الاستقرار الداخلي ويضع حدًا للعدوان الإسرائيلي المستمر على لبنان.
كما شددت الكتلة على أهمية أي قرار مالي أو إداري بأن ينبثق من إصلاح اقتصادي شامل، مؤكدة أن الحلول الجزئية لا تكفي وأنه يجب إقرار سلسلة رتب ورواتب جديدة بناءً على أسس علمية وعادلة، في إطار رؤية شاملة للمالية العامة.
فيما يخص القطاع التربوي، طالبت الكتلة بضرورة وضع خطة واضحة للعام الدراسي المقبل تضمن حقوق الأساتذة وتحل مشكلة المتعاقدين، داعية وزارة التربية إلى تحمل مسؤولياتها حيال ارتفاع أقساط المدارس الخاصة.
“Democratic Gathering” Affirms Necessity of State-Controlled Weapons and Calls for Comprehensive Economic Reforms
The “Democratic Gathering” bloc held its regular meeting at the Clemenceau headquarters, chaired by the leader of the Progressive Socialist Party, MP Taymour Jumblatt. The meeting was attended by key members of the bloc, where they discussed the ongoing political, economic, social, and educational challenges facing the country.
The bloc emphasized that the main challenge lies in restoring the role of constitutional institutions and achieving a natural balance in their functions. They stressed the need for responsible management, especially in structural reforms. Additionally, they called for the formation of a national committee to abolish political sectarianism as the primary step for political reform, with the ultimate goal of creating a Senate and implementing a new non-sectarian electoral law.
Regarding the issue of weapons, the bloc confirmed the adoption of a calm and realistic approach to placing all weapons under the control of the state, asserting that this principle is non-negotiable. They highlighted the importance of leveraging Lebanon’s renewed presence on both the Arab and international stages to achieve the national interest, maintain internal stability, and counter the ongoing Israeli aggression against Lebanon.
The bloc also emphasized that any financial or administrative decision must come from a comprehensive economic reform, insisting that piecemeal solutions are insufficient, and a new salary scale based on scientific and fair criteria should be implemented as part of a clear vision for public finances.
On the educational sector, the bloc called for a clear plan for the next academic year that guarantees the rights of teachers and addresses the issue of contract workers. They urged the Ministry of Education to take responsibility for the soaring private school tuition fees.
