شهدت منطقة البترون صباح الثلاثاء حادث سير مروّع على الطريق البحرية، تحديدًا بعد حاجز المدفون باتجاه بيروت، أودى بحياة الشابة زينة تكريتي، الطالبة الجامعية البالغة من العمر 21 عامًا.
وفقدت زينة السيطرة على سيارتها عند أحد المنعطفات الخطرة، ما تسبب بانقلاب المركبة وسط الطريق، وأدى إلى وفاتها فورًا نتيجة الإصابات البالغة التي لحقت بها.
حضرت فورًا فرق الصليب الأحمر اللبناني التي نقلت جثمانها إلى أحد مستشفيات المنطقة، فيما وصلت القوى الأمنية وفتحت تحقيقًا عاجلاً لمعرفة أسباب وملابسات الحادث المؤلم.
تُعد هذه الحادثة مؤلمة خاصة مع انتماء الفقيدة حديثًا إلى عائلة الصيادلة، وسط تعاطف واسع مع أسرتها وجامعتها.

A devastating car accident occurred Tuesday morning on the coastal road in Batroun, just past the Madfoun checkpoint heading towards Beirut, resulting in the death of 21-year-old university student Zeina Takriti.
Zeina lost control of her vehicle at a dangerous bend, causing the car to overturn in the middle of the road, leading to her immediate death from severe injuries.
