أكد رئيس الحكومة اللبنانية نواف سلام، خلال مؤتمر صحافي من عين التينة، التزامه الكامل بما ورد في البيان الوزاري، خصوصًا فيما يتعلق بملف إعادة الإعمار، الذي ناقشه مع رئيس مجلس النواب نبيه بري.
وأشار سلام إلى أن موضوع السلاح منصوص عليه صراحة في البيان الوزاري، الذي يؤكد على حصره بيد الدولة، مع التزام تام باتفاق الطائف الذي ينص على بسط سلطة الدولة على كامل الأراضي اللبنانية.
ونوّه إلى أن رئيس مجلس النواب نبيه بري لا يحمل أية هواجس تجاه ملف الإصلاحات، مؤكدًا في تعبيره “نحن مش مرصد أحوال جوية، ولا منبرد ولا منسخّن”، مشيرًا إلى أن برّي متفهم للوضع.
وأشار سلام إلى فتحه أبوابه للحوار والتعاون مع حزب الله، قائلاً: “أترك مكانًا كبيرًا للود مع الحاج محمد والحزب، وأبوابي مفتوحة”.
كما كشف أن لبنان بحاجة إلى أكثر من 7 مليارات دولار لتمويل عملية إعادة الإعمار، مشيرًا إلى تأمين 250 مليون دولار من البنك الدولي لهذا الغرض.
وختم سلام بالتأكيد على تمسك الحكومة بمبادرة السلام العربية التي تقوم على حل الدولتين، مع جعل القدس الشرقية عاصمة الدولة الفلسطينية، وحق اللاجئين في العودة إلى ديارهم.
“Lebanese Prime Minister Nawaf Salam Affirms Commitment to Cabinet Statement and Opens Dialogue with Hezbollah”
Lebanese Prime Minister Nawaf Salam, in a press conference held at Ain Al-Tineh, affirmed his full commitment to the cabinet statement, especially regarding the reconstruction file, which he discussed with Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri.
Salam emphasized that the issue of arms is clearly outlined in the cabinet statement, which stresses their exclusivity under state authority, fully adhering to the Taif Agreement that mandates state sovereignty over all Lebanese territories.
He noted that Speaker Nabih Berri has no concerns regarding the reform file, stating, “We are not a weather observatory, neither hot nor cold,” highlighting Berri’s understanding of the situation.
Salam expressed openness to dialogue and cooperation with Hezbollah, stating, “I leave a large place for goodwill with Hajj Muhammad and the party, and my doors are open.”
He revealed that Lebanon requires over 7 billion dollars to finance reconstruction efforts, confirming that 250 million dollars have been secured from the World Bank for this purpose.
Salam concluded by reaffirming the government’s commitment to the Arab Peace Initiative, based on a two-state solution with East Jerusalem as the capital of the Palestinian state and the right of return for refugees.
