تابعت وزارة التربية والتعليم العالي بدقة كافة الشكاوى المتعلقة بآلية تنفيذ برنامج “جلسات التوعية على المهارات الحياتية حول السلوكيات الخطرة” فور ورودها، واتخذت إجراءات فورية لضمان سلامة التلامذة وصحتهم النفسية.
وأوضح المكتب الإعلامي لوزيرة التربية والتعليم العالي، ريما كرامي، النقاط التالية:

تمّت الموافقة على هذا البرنامج في عهد الوزارة السابقة.

حفاظًا على سلامة التلامذة الصحية والنفسية، أصدر المكتب تعليمات فورية بتوقيف تنفيذ البرنامج وسحب كافة المواد التعليمية التي تم توزيعها.

كلفت الوزيرة مديرية التعليم الثانوي بإجراء تحقيقات شاملة لمعرفة الملابسات المتعلقة بالموافقة على البرنامج وطرق تنفيذه.
وأكد المكتب الإعلامي أن نتائج التحقيقات ستُعلن للرأي العام والإعلام تباعًا، بما يعكس حرص الوزارة على الشفافية والمسؤولية.
ويُذكر أن الوزيرة ريما كرامي، منذ استلامها مهامها في منتصف فبراير، كلفت أحد مستشاريها بتقييم آليات منح الأذونات للجمعيات والشركاء الخارجيين لدخول المدارس والثانويات، بهدف وضع معايير مشددة تعكس استراتيجية الوزارة والقيم المجتمعية للمؤسسات التعليمية.

The Ministry of Education and Higher Education promptly addressed all complaints regarding the implementation method of the “Life Skills Awareness Sessions on Risky Behaviors” program immediately upon receipt, taking swift measures to ensure students’ physical and psychological safety.
The media office of Minister Rima Karami clarified the following points:

The program was approved under the previous ministry administration.

To protect students' health and mental well-being, the ministry issued immediate instructions to halt the program and withdraw all distributed educational materials.

The minister tasked the Secondary Education Directorate with conducting a thorough investigation to uncover the circumstances surrounding the program's approval and execution mechanisms.
The media office confirmed that investigation results will be announced progressively to the public and media, demonstrating the ministry's commitment to transparency and responsibility.
Since assuming office in mid-February, Minister Karami has assigned one of her advisors to evaluate the mechanisms by which permits are granted to associations and external partners to access schools and secondary institutions, aiming to establish stricter standards that align with the ministry’s strategy and the community values of educational institutions.
