استنكرت وزيرة التربية والتعليم العالي في لبنان، ريما كرامي، الاعتداء الإسرائيلي الذي استهدف دراجة نارية قرب مدرسة المنصوري الرسمية في قضاء صور بمحافظة الجنوب، ما تسبب في وقوع إصابات في محيط المدرسة وأثار حالة من القلق بين التلامذة والهيئة التعليمية.
وأكدت كرامي في بيان صدر اليوم الثلاثاء، أن مديرية التعليم الأساسي تواصلت فورًا مع المنطقة التربوية المعنية، وأعطت التوجيهات اللازمة لـإغلاق المدرسة حفاظًا على سلامة التلامذة، كما تابعت الإجراءات اللوجستية المتعلقة بتسليم الأولاد إلى ذويهم.
وأجرت الوزيرة اتصالًا بمدير المدرسة، محمد شويخ، للاطمئنان على سلامة التلامذة والهيئة التعليمية والإدارية، في أعقاب هذا الاعتداء الغاشم الذي وصفته بـ”العمل الإجرامي”.
ودعت كرامي المجتمع الدولي والأمم المتحدة والدول المؤثرة إلى تحمل مسؤولياتها والضغط على إسرائيل لوقف اعتداءاتها الوحشية على المدنيين الآمنين، مشددة على ضرورة تحييد المدارس والمؤسسات التعليمية عن دائرة الاستهداف، إذ لا يجوز أن تُعامل كما الشوارع والمنازل.
في وقت سابق، أفاد مراسل “ليبانون ديبايت” عن غارة نفذتها طائرة مسيرة إسرائيلية استهدفت دراجة نارية على طريق المنصوري – مجدل زون في قضاء صور.
وأعلنت إذاعة الجيش الإسرائيلي أن سلاح الجو اغتال عنصرًا من حزب الله في قرية المنصوري جنوبي لبنان.
من جهته، أصدر مركز عمليات طوارئ الصحة العامة التابع لوزارة الصحة العامة بيانًا رسميًا أوضح فيه أن الغارة الإسرائيلية أدت إلى إصابة ثلاثة أشخاص بجروح في حصيلة أولية.
هذا الحادث يعكس تصاعدًا في الهجمات الإسرائيلية التي تستهدف مناطق جنوب لبنان، مما يرفع من حدة التوتر الأمني والسياسي في المنطقة، ويضع المدارس والمؤسسات التعليمية تحت خطر مباشر يستدعي تحركًا دوليًا عاجلًا.
Israeli Drone Strike Near Al-Mansouri School in Southern Lebanon: Education Minister Reema Karam Condemns Attack
Lebanese Minister of Education and Higher Learning, Reema Karam, condemned an Israeli attack targeting a motorcycle near Al-Mansouri Public School in the Tyre district of southern Lebanon, resulting in injuries around the school area and raising concern among students and educational staff.
In a statement released on Tuesday, Minister Karam affirmed that the Basic Education Directorate immediately contacted the relevant educational region and ordered the closure of the school to safeguard student safety, while overseeing logistical procedures to hand over students safely to their families.
Minister Karam also contacted the school principal, Mohammad Shweikh, to check on the well-being of students and staff following the brutal assault she described as a “criminal act.”
She called on the international community, the United Nations, and influential countries to assume responsibility and pressure Israel to halt its brutal attacks on peaceful civilians, stressing the urgent need to protect schools and educational institutions from becoming targets, emphasizing they must not be treated like streets or homes.
Earlier, a reporter from Lebanon Debate confirmed that an Israeli drone strike targeted a motorcycle on the Al-Mansouri – Majdal Zoun road in Tyre district.
The Israeli military radio reported that the Israeli Air Force assassinated a Hezbollah member in Al-Mansouri village, southern Lebanon.
The Ministry of Public Health’s Emergency Operations Center issued an official statement confirming that the Israeli strike resulted in three people being wounded in the initial tally.
This incident highlights the escalating Israeli attacks targeting southern Lebanon, heightening security and political tensions in the region, and putting schools and educational institutions at direct risk, calling for urgent international intervention.
