“أحمد الحجار يشدد على مكافحة الفوضى الأمنية في طرابلس لضمان نجاح الانتخابات في لبنان”
أكد وزير الداخلية والبلديات في لبنان، أحمد الحجار، من مدينة طرابلس، اليوم، أن الحكومة استخلصت العبر من التجربة التي مرّت بها الانتخابات في جبل لبنان، وذلك بهدف ضمان نجاح العملية الانتخابية في محافظتي لبنان الشمالي وعكار.
وأشار الحجار إلى أنه قد طلب من الأجهزة الأمنية المختلفة تكثيف الجهود لمكافحة أي مظاهر من شأنها أن تخل بالأمن، قائلًا: “لن نسمح بأي تجاوزات أو فوضى أمنية في أي منطقة من لبنان، وبالأخص في طرابلس.”
وأضاف الوزير الحجار أن العملية الانتخابية في لبنان تسير على ما يرام، ولا توجد تحديات حقيقية تعيقها. وأوضح أن بعض الأمور اللوجستية تُعالج حاليًا لضمان سير الانتخابات بنجاح. وأكد أن الوضع الأمني في لبنان جيد ولا توجد أية إشكالات تذكر، مشيرًا إلى أن الإرادة الحكومية على إجراء الاستحقاقات الانتخابية في موعدها واضحة وقوية.
كما شدّد وزير الداخلية على أن المواطنين في جبل لبنان أظهروا مسؤولية كبيرة أثناء الانتخابات، حيث أكد: “لقد لمسنا التزامًا كبيرًا من المواطنين، الذين أخذوا مسؤولياتهم على محمل الجد.”
وتطرق الحجار أيضًا إلى الدور الكبير الذي تقوم به القوى الأمنية والمحافظين في ضمان نجاح الانتخابات، حيث قال: “لا شك في وطنيّة جميع العاملين في هذا الاستحقاق، بدءًا من القوى الأمنية وصولًا إلى المحافظين الذين يعملون بلا كلل من أجل أن تجري الانتخابات بسلاسة.”
وفي ختام حديثه، شدد الحجار على أن الدولة اللبنانية توفر الجهوزية اللازمة لجميع الأجهزة الحكومية لمساعدة المواطنين على ممارسة حقهم الديمقراطي بكل يسر وسهولة، لضمان إجراء انتخابات نزيهة وشفافة.
“Ahmad al-Hajjar Stresses Combating Security Chaos in Tripoli to Ensure Successful Elections in Lebanon”
Lebanon's Minister of Interior and Municipalities, Ahmad al-Hajjar, confirmed today from Tripoli that lessons were learned from the previous election experience in Mount Lebanon, and these lessons are being applied to ensure the success of the electoral process in the northern governorates of Lebanon and Akkar.
Al-Hajjar pointed out that he has asked various security forces to combat any disruptive security phenomena, stating: “We will not tolerate any violations or security chaos in any area of Lebanon, particularly in Tripoli.”
He further added that there are no significant challenges hindering the electoral process, although some logistical matters are being addressed. The security situation in Lebanon is stable, with no significant issues, and most importantly, the government's determination to conduct the elections on time remains firm.
The Minister also emphasized that citizens in Mount Lebanon took their responsibilities seriously during the elections. He remarked: “We observed that the citizens were committed and took their responsibilities seriously.”
Al-Hajjar also highlighted the vital role played by security forces and governors in ensuring the elections proceed smoothly, saying: “There is no doubt about the patriotism of all those involved in this important event, from security forces to governors, who work tirelessly to ensure the success of the elections.”
In conclusion, Al-Hajjar reaffirmed that the Lebanese state is fully prepared to support all government agencies in assisting citizens in exercising their democratic rights and fulfilling their electoral duties with ease and convenience, ensuring a fair and transparent election process.
