“قوى الأمن الداخلي تضبط أسلحة وذخائر في عكار بكمين محكم: جهود مستمرة لمكافحة تهريب الأسلحة”
في إطار تعزيز جهود قوى الأمن الداخلي اللبنانية لمكافحة الجرائم في مختلف المناطق اللبنانية، وتحديداً في متابعة عمليات تهريب الأسلحة والذخائر عبر الحدود السورية إلى لبنان، تمكنت قوى الأمن من إحباط عملية تهريب أسلحة وذخائر في محافظة عكار، شمال لبنان. حيث تواصل أجهزة قوى الأمن الداخلي حملاتها المستمرة لمكافحة هذه الأنشطة غير القانونية.
وفقًا للمعلومات التي تم الحصول عليها من شعبة المعلومات، تم رصد نشاط مشبوه يتعلق بتهريب الأسلحة والتجارة بها على مستوى عدد من الأشخاص المجهولين. وعليه، باشرت قوى الأمن إجراءاتها الأمنية والاستعلامية لتحديد هوية الأشخاص المتورطين، وبعد عمل مكثف من التحقيقات، تم تحديد مكان تواجد المشتبه بهم في بلدة تلحميرة في عكار.
في يوم 15 أبريل 2025، وبعد فترة من المراقبة الدقيقة، رصدت إحدى دوريات شعبة المعلومات المتورطين وهما على متن سيارة من نوع مرسيدس سوداء في البلدة نفسها. تم نصب كمين محكم لهما، حيث تم توقيفهما وضبط السيارة التي كانت تحتوي على خمسة بنادق حربية من نوع كلاشنكوف، إضافة إلى خمسة مماشط وكميات من الذخائر.
خلال التحقيق مع الموقوفين، اعترفا بتنفيذ العملية التي تم ضبطهما فيها. وأُتخذت الإجراءات القانونية اللازمة بحقهم، حيث تم إيداعهما مع المضبوطات القضاء المختص بناءً على إشاراته.
هذه العملية تأتي في إطار الخطط الأمنية التي تنفذها قوى الأمن الداخلي من أجل الحفاظ على الأمن والاستقرار في البلاد، ومكافحة تهريب الأسلحة والذخائر من خلال الحدود اللبنانية السورية.
“Lebanese Internal Security Forces Seize Weapons and Ammunition in Akkar: A Successful Operation Against Arms Smuggling”
As part of the Lebanese Internal Security Forces' continuous efforts to combat crime across various regions of Lebanon, and specifically in addressing the smuggling of weapons and ammunition from Syria into Lebanon, a significant weapons seizure operation took place in Akkar. The Lebanese Internal Security Forces (ISF) remain committed to stopping illegal arms trafficking in the country.
Based on intelligence gathered by the Information Branch, the authorities discovered that individuals were involved in smuggling arms and trading them. As a result, the ISF initiated investigative measures to identify and apprehend the suspects. Through thorough investigations, the authorities were able to pinpoint the whereabouts of two suspected individuals in the village of Tal Hamira, Akkar.
On April 15, 2025, after careful surveillance, an ISF patrol successfully tracked the suspects driving a black Mercedes car within the same village. A well-executed ambush was set up, and the suspects were arrested along with the vehicle, which contained five Kalashnikov rifles, five magazines, and a quantity of ammunition.
During questioning, the suspects confessed to the charges. Legal proceedings have been initiated against them, and both suspects, along with the seized items, have been handed over to the competent judiciary based on its instructions.
This operation reflects the ongoing security efforts by the Lebanese Internal Security Forces to maintain safety and stability in the country, particularly in combating the smuggling of weapons and ammunition across the Lebanese-Syrian border.
