وزيرة الشؤون الاجتماعية حنين السيد تكشف عن 5 أولويات جديدة للوزارة في إطار الإصلاح الاجتماعي
عقدت لجنة الصحة العامة والعمل والشؤون الاجتماعية جلسة اليوم برئاسة النائب بلال عبدالله، وبحضور وزيرة الشؤون الاجتماعية حنين السيد وأعضاء اللجنة، لمناقشة الوضع الاجتماعي في لبنان وتحديد الأولويات التي سيتم العمل عليها في المرحلة المقبلة.
وفي تصريح لها بعد الجلسة، قالت الوزيرة حنين السيد: “أود أن أشكر لجنة الصحة على تعاونها المثمر، وقد قدمت خلال الاجتماع رؤيتي للوزارة التي تم تحديد أولوياتها بعد اجتماعات مكثفة الأسبوع الماضي مع موظفي الوزارة. هذه الرؤية تعتمد بشكل كبير على خبرات الموظفين الذين يعرفون واقع المجتمع عن كثب، وقد تم دعمها بأفكاري الإصلاحية الخاصة.”
وأضافت السيد أن “الوزارة قد حددت خمس أولويات أساسية، وسأقوم قريباً بنشرها، وهذه الأولويات سيكون لها تأثير كبير على هيكلية الوزارة التي تحتاج إلى تحديث وتطوير مستمر.”
وتابعت: “إذا أردنا تحسين جودة الخدمة المقدمة للمواطن، يجب أن نغير طريقة إدارتنا. وهذا ما ناقشناه مع اللجنة. بدأنا بالفعل في العمل وفق هذا النهج، كما طلب دولة الرئيس نواف سلام من جميع الوزراء تقديم خطة عمل مدتها 12 شهراً. وأنا متحمسة للعمل مع اللجنة لتطوير الوزارة وزيادة الإنفاق الاجتماعي، لأن الاحتياجات في لبنان تتزايد باستمرار، ويجب على الدولة أن تواكب هذه الاحتياجات وتساعد المواطنين المحتاجين في بلدنا.”
من جانبها، أشارت النائبة عناية عزالدين إلى “أهمية اقتراح القانون المرن الذي تقدمت به، والذي تم مناقشته في لجنة المرأة والطفل النيابية، وأُقرَّ وأُدخلت عليه بعض التعديلات. هذا الاقتراح يمثل خطوة مهمة نحو تحسين وضع المرأة في سوق العمل ويهدف إلى تسهيل تطبيق أنماط عمل جديدة في لبنان، وهو يعد استثماراً في قدرات الشباب اللبناني. ونتمنى أن يتم إقراره في الهيئة العامة قريباً.”
وفي ختام الجلسة، أكد النائب بلال عبدالله: “كانت هذه الجلسة فرصة للاطلاع على خطة الوزيرة الشاملة لحل الأوضاع الاجتماعية في لبنان. عرضت الوزيرة خطة مفصلة حول النقاط المرتبطة بالشأن الاجتماعي، بما في ذلك احتياجاتنا وكيفية معالجتها، إضافة إلى اقتراحات تنظيمية لإعادة هيكلة الوزارة وبرامجها. الجلسة كانت مفيدة للغاية، ومعالي الوزيرة ستكون لها بصمة واضحة في العمل الاجتماعي.”
وأضاف عبدالله: “كأعضاء لجنة الصحة العامة، نحن مستعدون لدعم مشروع تطوير العمل الاجتماعي في لبنان، ولدينا استعداد كامل للتعاون في أي تشريع مطلوب، وقد قدم عدد من الزملاء توصيات للحكومة عبر معالي الوزيرة حول ملفات هامة مثل الإسكان، النازحين السوريين، وعدد من الملفات الاجتماعية الأخرى التي سنواصل العمل عليها.”
Social Affairs Minister Haneen Al-Sayed Unveils 5 New Priorities for the Ministry in the Context of Social Reform
The Health, Labor, and Social Affairs Committee held a session today, chaired by MP Bilal Abdullah, with the presence of the Minister of Social Affairs, Haneen Al-Sayed, and committee members to discuss the social situation in Lebanon and outline the ministry’s priorities for the upcoming phase.
In a statement following the meeting, Minister Haneen Al-Sayed said, “I would like to thank the Health Committee for their fruitful collaboration. During the meeting, I presented my vision for the ministry, which has been shaped by intensive meetings with the ministry staff last week. This vision relies heavily on the experience of employees who are well acquainted with the social reality, and it has been supported by my own reform ideas.”
She added, “The ministry has identified five key priorities, which I will announce shortly. These priorities will have a significant impact on the ministry’s structure, which requires continuous updating and development.”
Al-Sayed continued, “To improve the services provided to citizens, we need to adopt a new approach to management. This is what we discussed with the committee. We have already started working on this approach, as President Nawaf Salam asked all ministers to submit a 12-month work plan. I am excited to work with the committee to restructure the ministry and increase social spending, as Lebanon’s needs continue to grow, and the state must help its citizens in need.”
On her part, MP Inaya Ezzedine highlighted the importance of the flexible law proposal she presented, which was discussed in the Women and Children Committee and approved with some amendments. She emphasized that this proposal is a crucial step to improving women’s position in the labor market and facilitating new work models in Lebanon. “It represents an investment in the capabilities of Lebanese youth and will bring Lebanon into alignment with global work trends,” she said. Ezzedine hopes the proposal will soon be passed in the General Assembly.
At the end of the session, MP Bilal Abdullah remarked, “This meeting was an opportunity to review the Minister’s comprehensive plan for addressing Lebanon's social issues. The Minister presented a detailed outline on social matters, including the needs and ways to address them, along with organizational proposals for restructuring the ministry and its programs. The session was very useful, and Minister Al-Sayed will undoubtedly leave a lasting impact on the social sector.”
Abdullah added, “As members of the Health Committee, we are ready to support the social work development project in Lebanon. We are fully prepared to engage in any required legislation, and several colleagues have submitted recommendations to the government through the Minister on important issues like housing, Syrian refugees, and other social matters we will continue working on.”
